Have you ever tried that high sperd shellac made just for wood turning?

Never heard of it. Is it flakes?

No I got it through rockler and it wipes on while the lathe is turning it.......http://www.rockler.com/shellawax-liquid-friction-polish

I’ll get around to polishing out the orange peel once it cures fully. If it ever does. We just went from 10 to 90 percent humidity overnight.

Thanks, it is hard to see in the photo, but it is covered in tiny dimples. Only a problem for an insane perfectionist.
