How I read books with little free time [short]

This is one of the short posts I mentioned in the article called "An idea" that I posted a few days ago.

The short story is this: I am away in Germany for work until November at a seasonal job, in the kitchen of a restaurant, and I spend most of my time working, with around 4 hours of free time and one free day a week. Aside from that I also write and post articles every single day. I can say, then, that my free time is very limited. And yet, I manage to read a decent amount of books a year. How do I do it?

Well, it's quite simple. I never spend too much time reading, but I read whenever I have time.

You see, if I want to read 30 - 50 pages a day, that would take me around 2 hours. If I chose to read that amount of pages when I wake up, during my midday break or at night after work, I would have to either wake up 2 hours earlier, spend my midday break doing nothing but reading, or read at night without being able to do anything else.

However, if I read only 10 - 15 pages in the morning, during my break and at night, I might be able to read 30 - 45 pages a day without spending more than 20 - 30 minutes at a time reading, depending on how fast I read.

Do this every day for a week and you'll end up reading 315 pages, which, depending on what you read, it can be either an entire book, almost an entire book, or half a book. Regardless, that's a good amount of pages, and you'll achieve that by reading for only 20-30 minutes at a time.

This allows me to both finish books and have enough free time at my disposal to do everything I want to do.
