Excelente e importante día amigos Hivers, si hoy es un día de verdad importante no solo como tema de moda o de día internacional, de esto depende nuestra existencia y no estoy exagerando, en el año 2017 la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas proclamo el 20 de Mayo como día Mundial de las Abejas, coincidiendo con el natalicio de Anton Jansa, este gran humano en el siglo 18 fue punta de lanza de muchas técnicas de apicultura moderna, en su natal Eslovenia.

Precisamente este es el país que ha impulsado la celebración que hoy estamos festejando, de estos diminutos seres que realmente son fenomenales, corría el año de 1989 cuando quizá fue mi primer contacto con estos importantisimos insectos, mi abuelo materno tiene un rancho en la sierra de Guanajuato y el en ese tiempo se dedicaba a cuidar y aprovechar un panal de abejas, en aquellos tiempos no había luz en el poblado y no existían carreteras para llegar a dicho lugar, por lo que el conseguir recursos de la naturaleza era algo infinitamente importante, mediante la enseñanza de sus antepasados mi abuelo sabia atender a las Abejas, sabia en que temporada se tenia que proteger del frio o las lluvias el panal y hacia todo lo necesario para que tuvieran las mejores condiciones, recuerdo haber probado la miel recién recolectada del panal y manipular la cera que producen.

No quisiera hacer esta publicación engorrosa hablando de TODO lo que hacen las Abejas y de la importancia para nosotros como especie ya que si al menos tienes dos dedos de frente deberías de saber que nosotros dependemos de ellas para seguir viviendo como especie y disfrutando de nuestra vida tan cómoda, mi publicación va mas encaminada a pedir seamos un poco menos soberbios y hagamos hasta lo imposible por rescatar y proteger a las Abejas, en la soberbia humana estamos llevándonos entre las patas a miles de especies que sustentan el mundo como los conocemos, desde microbios que no vemos, insectos que dan vida al alimento que consumimos y especies que mantienen el equilibrio en este “hasta el día de hoy” el único planeta que tenemos.

Plantemos flores, mantengamos en nuestros jardines o balcones sitios donde ellas puedan estar resguardadas, a pesar de ser un insecto enormemente importante para el planeta, son insectos muy frágiles y su tiempo de vida es corto, nosotros como especie deberíamos de agradecer con acciones de cuidado y protección todo lo que ellas hacen por nosotros.
