Yes, I recall watching this on TV years ago about The Battle of Leyte. It is very hard to imagine what it must have been like to have been alive during those days. It must have seemed like the end of the world. Destruction all over Europe, an imperial fascist navy on the move in Asia, scary new weapons, economic systems still mired in the great depression, and massive battles like the Battle of Leyte. Incredible!
