Loni didn't understand why everyone sat around the room pretending they were sad or respectful of a woman they failed to visit or care about when she was alive.
Most of them were distant relatives to Grandma Mona; likely looking to cash in on an inheritance or steal her silver. Loni touched grandma's cold, waxy hand and smiled before she resiled to the back of the room.
Only she knew that grandma died without a cent because she donated all of her worldly belongings to charity to get the last laugh and piss off every faker in the room.
