The fast-paced, action-oriented story that you're about to be pulled into, can be seen as a follow up to the previous Life is Like a Chess Game, where I introduced a new character - based on my friend @inuke - to the world of Hypersensitivosaurus. If you've missed that one, go there first.
Mild mannered wolf was a sore loser.
Hypersensitivosaurus had just beaten his friend in an entertaining and pretty tense chess game. The level had been high.
After checkmating his hairy friend, Hypersensitivosaurus told M M wolf that the latter had played pretty high level too.
Instead of congratulating his raptor buddy, the wolf could only reply with:
You think that was high level?
( referring to his own game )
A sore loser.
M M Wolf probably wanted to be the alfa male.
Try that against a raptor!
Hypersensitivosaurus had totally forgotten about how fun the game had been and could now only think of beating M M wolf in their next match up.
Let's teach him some humility! he thought.
If grumpy wolf keeps losing, he might learn to respect me, his opponent, once again.
It seemed like 'Ego' had kicked in, changing both of them into the opposite of what they tried to be.
Mildly mannered wolf was a bad mannered beast and Hypersensitivosaurus was far from empathetic, miles away from the SuperZENsitivosaurus that he tried to be.
Life is Like a Chess Game.
The above story is based on a chess game that I played with @inuke - it started yesterday and finished today. As per usual, it's close to reality but also highly somewhat exaggerated, to supply you with a daily dose of much needed laughter.
Fun Fact: I made the last couple of moves in a forest, where I had hiked to this morning. In other words: I 'beat a wolf' in his territory. How about that?
The picture above this post is - or was - a bus stop, I guess, near the forest ( Mata da Margaraça ) that I visited today. I feel that it has a ZEN like vibe to it. This is the only picture that I took in the woods, today. The remainder of the time was spent in the now. That is, when I wasn't making a chess move.
Sounds like mild mannered wolf is a bit of a perfectionist XD

Although... this one is actually pretty harmless. He doesn't like killing other animals so he decided to stop hunting and started growing his own food instead.
