Happy Week 1 of the make-a-feature-post project for
CWH + DreemPortfolio Challenge
Here's what we'll do in each of the three weeks.
Week 1: We'll "wireframe" a feature post with topic, outline and sketches of a minimum viable post (MVP) , taking note of the elements that we would want to include, using placeholders, links, and images, to just to name a few.
Week 2: Focus in on your topic (could be the intersection of two), decide what to leave out, craft a single sentence explaining each part of your outline. Build your multi-media menu of elements, meaning text, images, sound files, video files and references (books, recordings, credits and such). Chose on what platform(s) you want to show your post,which could be a new one to you. Share your work-in-progress with someone you trust.
Week 3: Use the feedback together with your editor-self to work out clarity of your message, seasoned with your own unique voice. Gather all your work, files, photos, sketches, mind maps, even what you are not using so that you see how you did all this! Choose the multi-media gems to include to help your reader fully engage in what you've created. This post is going to amaze you. Yes, you will feel proud of yourself. You looked perfectionism in the eye, and made something anyway. Something real. Something you.
