Greetings, cherished friends and Hive Open mic fellow musicians. My name is samuel with the user name @greatgodfadaladi. I'd like to welcome everyone to week 214. This week's theme is "TAKE ME HOME," which was selected by @starstrings01, our community's most recent spotlight artist.
I'm hoping all is fine with everyone. I'm going to be covering Charles Wesley's song "Take Me Home, Country Road" this week. Although John Denver wrote the original song "Take me home," I chose to perform a version by Charles Wesley this week.

Espero que todo esté bien con todos. Esta semana haré un cover de la canción de Charles Wesley "Take Me Home, Country Road". Aunque John Denver escribió la canción original "Take me home", elegí interpretar una versión de Charles Wesley esta semana.
"Take Me Home, Country Roads", also known simply as "Country Roads", is a song written by Bill Danoff, Taffy Nivert and John Denver. It was released as a single performed by Denver on April 12, 1971, peaking at number two on Billboard's US Hot 100 singles for the week ending August 28, 1971.
I choose this specific song for two reasons: first, it goes with this week's theme, and second, regardless of our destination or route, we shall return home
Have you ever experienced homesickness? If you have ever gone away from home for an extended length of time for example, to attend college or move to a new location in pursuit of your dreams you may recall happy memories, supportive friends, and supportive family.
This song reminds me of my childhood. I grew up in a tiny town, and all of my memories are of this area. I miss all of my childhood friends and family. I also recall Christmas, when everyone gathered to celebrate as a group. I miss the tree, the creek, and my mother's old food cooker.
The memories I have made with my family define home for me. Some of my family's memories are deeply rooted in my mind and won't go away. These memories will endure a lifetime, even if I lose anything important to me.

También recuerdo la Navidad, cuando todos se reunían para celebrar en grupo. Extraño el árbol, el arroyo y la vieja olla de comida de mi madre.
Los recuerdos que he creado con mi familia definen mi hogar. Algunos de los recuerdos de mi familia están profundamente arraigados en mi mente y no desaparecerán. Estos recuerdos perdurarán toda la vida, incluso si pierdo algo importante para mí.

This post make me shed tears
I remember when I was at my early eighteen and did some child stuff and left home , my family looked for me till the end of the earth , thinking I'm dead but I wasn't , at the end I found myself blaming myself and plan on returning home , with all hope lost that this boy is dead , still afraid they are gonna scold me for running away from home but the reverse was the case, I was welcome with an open arms and tears of joy, can you see how your post make me shed a tears of joy, its a memory and need to tell my kids about this , I almost forgot
But your cover remind me to share this story with them ...
