We all need a little pick-me-up sometimes! Blessings are like sending sunshine – a way to show someone you care and want good things for them.
Today I will share my gladness in experiencing gathering Clean-up drive and Outreach Program Feeding to the children of Brgy Central Poblacion, City of Naga Cebu and also. We chose the Barangay Hall of Central Poblacion as the venue for the event as the Barangay is easy to access for the children who want to join the program.
The first thing we do is to gather at six in the morning for the clean-up drive in the Brgy Central Poblacion we finish at 7 in the morning.
After we had done the clean-up drive some students rested some were preparing for the Outreach program and some were cooking for the arrozcaldo (Rice soup) that would be given to those kids who would join our outreach program and I was the one who cooked the arrozcaldo ( Rice soup) I hope kids will love it.
But before the day of the event, my classmates gathered some pennies and donations for the giveaways for the kids, As for my group before the day of the outreach program we were tasked by our professor to cook something and we will sell it, after we cooked and sell our Mochi chocolate balls me and my group mates decide that our profit will be given to the outreach program and we choice to buy 10 boxes of juice for the kids.
So let's go back to the day of the outreach program, after we did all the preparation Pres. Tugaon signals us to start the event.
Anyway, these are the kids who joined the event and we felt so glad when we gathered 30 kids to come and join us.
The program started at 7:30 am with the prayer that will be led by Mary Queen and followed by Marchee And Joven for the National Anthem and Invocation,
also, the Brgy Captain of Central give a welcome address together with the Sk Chairman,
Game Time
I and @queeniemary were the one chosen to facilitate the game so we started entertaining the kids at 8:30 am we started it by having some games our first game was a Freeze game supposedly, When the music started the kids were a little shy so too jive the kids I call the attention of my fellow student to join the kids to dance and luckily my fellow students immediately came in front and jive the kids.
Also, the Barangay captain together with his SK chairman joined the dance which gave more enjoyment to all the people who joined the outreach we are very thankful to all the officials of Barangay Central Poblacion, City of Naga Cebu for their cooperation.
We also secured the safety of the kids, some of my schoolmates was assisting the kids.
So the next game was Bring Me the mechanics of the games were the kids will going to find something that we said for example when we said we wanted an old five peso coin the first that would come in front together with the thing that we wanted will when and the kids was so competitive at the moment which bring everybody's joy.
As we can see on their faces all of them want to participate in the games and eagerly want to win to get the prizes but we make sure that everyone will have their prize.
After that our Professor decided that we should contribute first the food so that they would have their breakfast, my fellschoolmatestes distributed the Arrozcaldo(rice soup) and together with my friendistributedute the juice that we bought.
While the kids eating their food some of my classmates were performing their singing talent, One performed an an original rap song one sang a sad song and there was a duet at that time I was amazed that the Cebu Technological University Naga extension campus had students who were hidden talent.
After the kids were done eating, we give them giveaways that we prepared and we make sure that all kids receive giveaways before they will go home so we call the Barangay Officials together with their Barangay Captain and Sk Chairman to help us contribute our giveaways.
Since we had run out of time one of our speakers that will going to take the closing remarks didn't make it to the event so my classmates were the ones who gave a closing address on behalf of Sir Anqui.
Before the event ends we took group photo first is our coordinators in Nstp together with all the officials of Barangay Central poblacion and the kids, then followed by us the future Elementary students and next was the Industrial Technology Students.
Truly that the most beautiful gift we can give to others is our heart. We do believe that by giving our blessings to other we will get tenfolds blessings in return.
We felt so great seeing those smile in their faces because of the simple thing we did to them. And I am looking forward to organized more Outreach Program and this time hope it will be together with my fellow students and coodinators.

So happy to see teenagers attending to this kind of program, cleaning and picking up trash is really a big contribution for our environment to make it more cleaner and with that, we will feel at ease breathing the air in our community. That's really amazing. I remember attending something like this during my school days. And the feeding program, whoa, you are so busy doing a lot of good things (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)

It is a commendable work, and of supreme importance, that you are carrying out there in that territory.
Everything that contributes to the healthy and comprehensive development of children's personalities is a pillar that is being erected to achieve a better society where good customs, equality and justice prevail.
All that great selfless work is rewarded with the personal satisfaction of doing the right thing. Something that is of incalculable moral value even more in these turbulent times.
