in Reflections4 months ago

Today is a big day for all the Indians. I know many people would be feeling proud to witness of consecration ceremony of Lord Ram at Ayodhya. This is a very special event and the day going to be a very special for coming days. It is not we get to see such a major event every day and being a part of the event makes it so special for the life. Many Indian citizen would be feeling the same. The inauguration of the Ram temple is going to be a great day in the books of history. It was a special occasion, where our esteemed prime minister Sri Narendra Modi completed the consecration ritual at the specified time at the temple. I was getting goosebumps on watching the event underway in the national television. First glimpse of Lord Rama was very pleasing and heart warming.

The mood and the day has been building up since last few days, as many people visiting the city to be a part of the mega event. Though it was suppose to be VVIP event, still people visited the place to welcome Lord welcome. Every important people including industrialist, politician, actors, sports person, and many others have attended today's function. There are few of the opposition leaders who called this event as a political stunts. But witnessing the mood and flavor of the Indians the days means lot to them. It is not about Ayodyha, but approx 700000 temples in India have arranged special function at their places to mark the occasion. Everyone turns up to celebrate the occasion. There has been rush in temples since morning.

The Controversy & History:

Ayodhya have seen many turbulent times over the years. And now witnessed a special day which going to transform the face of the city. Located in the state Uttar Pradesh and situated on the banks of Saryu river, the place is considered to be the birth place of Lord Rama.

The city has been in news for some turbulent politics and religious purpose. This is a site which is significant to both Hindus and Muslims. While the Hindus have many transcript and holy book Ramaysna supporting it as the birth place of Lord Rama. The place also has a Mughal-era built mosque, the Babri Masjid, which was destroyed in 1992 amid interreligious tensions. The first recorded instance of conflict over the site was in 1853, when a Hindu sect asserted that a temple had been demolished during Babur’s era to make way for the mosque. However after a prolonged legal battle, the Hindu community won a legal battle in 2019, allowing them to build the temple at the specified place. The Hindu community presented more than 200 evidences to support the presence of the temple.

as per Archaeological Survey of India, They found 12 pillars of the mosque that were made from the remains of a Hindu temple. The base of Pillars had Purna Kalasha which was 'ghada' (water pitcher) from which foliage would be coming out.

There were many other evidences that supports the Rama kingdom, asserted as Treta yoga.

After so many conflicts , bloodshed the town has witnessed, no doubt todays mega event going to be a long story teller for generation to comes. This makes every individual in India to enjoy and celebrate like Diwali. And they were taking part with more enthusiasm than before. Good to see people of India are waking up in the best way.

Peace!!
