Hola personas creativas!!! Hoy vengo futbolera 😜. No soy fanática de ningún equipo, pero de vez en cuando disfruto de algún buen partido.
Hace unos días recibí un encargo con esta temática. La muchacha quería un regalo para su novio. Algo que fuera alegórico al Barça, decorativo pero útil al mismo tiempo.
El novio tiene 27 años...algo grande para la línea que trabajo, casi siempre infantil 🤭. No obstante, le di varias opciones y al final escogió un reloj de pared.
El diseño sería algo simple, el escudo representativo de ese club. Mi idea era hacerlo sin números, pero en eso, la clienta fue enfática. Debía llevar al menos los principales. Fue un poco difícil hacerlo y que no afectará tanto la estética del diseño, el resultado, se los traigo hoy.

Hello creative people! Today I'm a soccer fan 😜. I'm not a fan of any team, but from time to time I enjoy some good game.
A few days ago I received an assignment with this theme. The girl wanted a gift for her boyfriend. Something that was allegorical to Barça, decorative but useful at the same time.
The boyfriend is 27 years old... something big for the line I work with, almost always childish 🤭. However, I gave him several options and in the end he chose a wall clock.
The design would be something simple, the representative shield of that club. My idea was to make it without numbers, but on that, the client was emphatic. It had to have at least the main ones. It was a little difficult to do it and that it would not affect the aesthetics of the design, the result, I bring you today.
I leave you the list of materials and the tutorial to serve as inspiration for those creative minds and hands. Don't limit yourselves!
Necesitaré
- Cartón corrugado de 40 x 40 x1,5 cm
- Papel artesanal
- Papel blanco reutilizado
- Maquinaria de reloj de pared con sus manecillas
- Moldes
- Cúter
- Regla
- Pegamento
- Pintura acrílica (amarilla, roja, azul, blanca y negra)
- Barniz acrílico transparente
- Pinceles
I will need:
- Corrugated cardboard 40 x 40 x 1.5 cm (16 x 16 x 1.5 inches)
- Handmade paper
- Reused white paper
- Wall clock mechanism with its hands
- Molds
- Cutter
- Ruler
- Glue stick
- Acrylic paint (yellow, red, blue, white and black)
- Clear acrylic varnish
- Brushes
Como siempre empezaré forrando el cartón con papel artesanal por la cara delantera y por detrás con papel reutilizado. Con ayuda del molde marcaré el cuerpo del reloj para calar. Una vez calado forraré los bordes expuestos del cartón con tiras de papel artesanal previamente cortadas.
As always, I will start by lining the cardboard with craft paper on the front side and on the back with reused paper. With the help of the mold I will mark the body of the clock for fretwork. Once it is fretworked, I will line the exposed edges of the cardboard with previously cut strips of craft paper.
Este diseño tiene varias piezas que marcaré y recortaré en papel artesanal. Luego las pintaré del color correspondiente y ensamblaré cada elemento del escudo.
This design has several pieces that I will mark and cut out on craft paper. I will then paint them in the corresponding color and assemble each element of the shield.
Con todas las partes pegadas en su sitio aplicaré una capa de barniz para proteger el trabajo. Posteriormente procederé a poner la maquinaria del reloj. Abriré un orificio por la parte de atrás del tamaño justo, donde la colocaré. Alrededor pondré una pieza de madera que servirá para colgar el reloj a la pared. Para finalizar le pondré las manecillas y listo!!
With all the parts glued in place I will apply a coat of varnish to protect the work. Afterwards I will proceed to put the clock's machinery in place. I will open a hole in the back of the clock of the right size, where I will place it. Around it I will put a piece of wood that will be used to hang the clock to the wall. Finally I will put the hands and that's it!
