My little girl is learning her first letters and syllables, she is in preschool and is almost finishing the course. In these last months she has learned many things and also to form different syllables with vowels and consonants. Since the beginning of the course they were taught the vowels and they have already mastered them, and recently they have been learning to identify the sounds of some consonants. The consonants they are teaching them at this stage are M, L and S. I remember that when I was in preschool they didn't teach us that because it was first grade content, but education has been changing and I am glad that the children are being prepared to face first grade better.
At the last parents' meeting, the teacher showed us a simple syllabary that each child has in the classroom where she teaches them to identify and read the syllables. For this reason, I wanted to make a syllabary for her and I thought of decorating it with two of the characters that I have liked the most from Holozing, I think they are very cute, and I was sure that my little girl would like them very much.
Mi niña está aprendiendo sus primeras letras y silabas, está cursando el grado preescolar y ya casi está acabando el curso. En estos últimos meses ha aprendido muchas cosas y también a conformar diferentes silabas con vocales y consonantes. Desde el inicio de curso les enseñaron las vocales y ya las dominan, y recientemente han ido aprendiendo a identificar los sonidos de algunas consonantes. Las consonantes que les están enseñando en esta etapa son la M, L y S. Recuerdo que cuando yo estaba en preescolar no nos enseñaban eso porque era contenido de primer grado, pero la educación ha ido cambiando y me alegra que vayan preparando a los niños para afrontar mejor el primer grado.
En la última reunión de padres, la maestra nos mostró un sencillo silabario que cada niño tiene en el aula y donde ella les enseña a identificar y leer las sílabas. Por esto, quise realizarle un silabario y pensé en adornarlo con dos de los personajes que más me han gustado de Holozing, me parecen muy tiernos, y estaba segura que a mi niña les iban a gustar mucho.

I started making the designs and drawings of Zingu and Woolio's characters. The latter, with his face resembling a small sun, is very cute, so I did not hesitate to include him. Then, I colored them with different pencils and cut them out.
Comencé haciendo los diseños y dibujos de los personajes de Zingu y Woolio. Este último, con su cara parecida a un pequeño sol, es muy simpático, por eso no dudé en incluirlo. Después, les di color con diferentes lápices y los recorté.
When I finished my two characters, I cut out two strips of cardboard of equal size. On one I glued the vowels and on the other the three consonants that my daughter has to practice with. On the top of each one I glued Woolio's face.
The last step was to make two openings in the cardboard that I was going to use as the base of the syllabary, two on each side and at the same level, to be able to introduce the two strips of cardboard that had the vowels and consonants, so that syllables could be formed according to the corresponding consonant and vowel. As decoration, I glued Zingu's happy face in the center.
Al terminar mis dos personajes, recorté dos listones de cartón de igual tamaño. En uno pegué las vocales y en el otro las tres consonantes con las que mi niña debe practicar. En el extremo de cada una pegue la carita de Woolio.
El último paso fue hacer dos aberturas en la cartulina que iba a usar de base del silabario, dos a cada lado y al mismo nivel, para poder introducir las dos tiras de cartulina que tenían las vocales y las consonantes, y que así se pudieran formar sílabas según la consonante y vocal que correspondiera. Como decoración, en el centro pegué la carita feliz de Zingu.
My little girl was thrilled when I showed it to her after she came home from school. I immediately started to review it, although I don't think she will need it very much because she could say almost all the syllables I showed her.
I spent most of the morning making the syllabary and I was happy to see how happy Maria Claudia was when I showed it to her. What she liked the most was how I drew and cut out Woolio. The next craft I will do it together with her so that she can help me and participate in the process, which she likes very much.
Mi niña se emocionó cuando se lo enseñé después de regresar de la escuela. Enseguida me puse a repasarla, aunque creo que no lo va a necesitar mucho porque me supo decir casi todas las silabas que le mostré.
Estuve casi toda la mañana confeccionando el silabario y me sentí contenta al ver la alegría que le dio a María Claudia cuando se lo mostré. Lo que más le gustó fue cómo dibujé y recorté a Woolio. La próxima manualidad la haré junto a ella para que pueda ayudarme y participar en el proceso, que le gusta mucho.
As for the rewards I have earned since my last post, I must say that I am now over 3K Zing stored by concept of delegation. I am almost reaching 4K, therefore, I have seen how the rewards I keep staking have also increased as my Zing tokens increase.
