For those who have been following my Vibes journey you'll notice that each week I like to change things up and make things a little different.
This week I decided to go back to my roots and perform a piano/acoustic version of the very first song I ever wrote. This song is called "Photograph" and it was the beginning of my transition from classical music to pop.
I wrote this song for my late grandfather. I always used to look at photograph's that we had together of when I was younger. The idea in general of a photograph always blew my mind that a moment in time could be captured literally by light and we could keep this moment and look back at it and remember a time that we felt something special. I think we sometimes take that for granted and that's why I am quite precious when it comes to keeping old pictures and memories that were beautiful and meaningful.
Also for this week, instead of a sunset background, we got up at 5am to capture the beautiful sunrise on the opposite side of our balcony to make it as picturesque as possible (see what I did there ;))
Loving watching the vibes community grow and seeing so many new musicians joining this awesome space. Again, @lordbutterfly and @marica_eth this wouldn't have been possible without you. Also big shoutout to @verbal_d for doing such an amazing job at always putting his heart and soul into his comments on contestants posts.

Wow, this was so lovely and another side Iโve never seen before and to think this was inspired by your late grandpa Iโm even more impressed. The sound was so soothing, I actually listened to this in the morning but I couldnโt leave a comment because my phone was acting weird.
Iโm wondering, does this piano cover has a melody (lyrics)? Iโd love to listen to it ๐ฅฐ.

I believe this is one of those heart touching songs that has grown over time with you, evolving more and more into a deeper connection and beautiful expression of the love you hold for your grandfather and your family in general. I am sure the song didn't sound exactly like how it sounds when you first made it, you have definitely nurtured and developed its layered musicality throughout the years and we all are blessed to listen and witness it at its peak form and presentation. I can tell this one means a lot to you, and is so profound and genuine, with every keystroke. A magnificent display of care and affection in melodic form.
