In the past few days, more of my blog posts have been about birthday celebrations which were very exciting as to the days to come, many birthdays will come.
Today's "A Day of My Life" Blog Post will be different as I am sharing about my voluntary works for the Lord in partnership with the Government through DSWD, and we are tasked to facilitate the Family Development Session or FDS for the 4P's Beneficiaries.
Before I proceed with this voluntary work I have, I just want to greet first everyone here in the community especially the Admins and all the members. I will never forget to thank also all the curators who always show their support for me. Above all this, my full thanksgiving to our God alone for without Him this will not happen.
A few days ago we were contacted by the DSWD here in our town asking if we Pastors are available and can facilitate the FDS for this month. Without hesitation and this is what we are waiting for, we immediately accepted it and scheduled a date for the FDS. They then gave us the schedule and it was a nice date for we were all free.
Before the said date to come, the topic was already given to us, so we could study and share it very well with the beneficiaries. We just thank God for the DSWD in assisting us by giving the lessons very early to us as well as the attendance.
I have studied the lesson before the said date and I can say that the lesson is very nice as it will help the beneficiaries with Gender Development and about how to take good care of the family. There are also group activities that I need to prepare for them to engage in engagement during the session.
It was held in our Church as it can accommodate all of them. I just then arrived at our Church together with one of our Church's young people around 8:00 in the morning as it will start by 8:30 in the morning.
We then immediately started the session at around 8:30 in the morning although some of the beneficiaries were not here already we needed to be time-bound.
I then discussed with them what is the topic all about how is it important for them to know and why the government created this program for them. After a while, I started the group activities where this time it allowed all of them to share their ideas about the topic.
We started the first topic and the first activity, I gave them a few minutes before someone in their group reported and discussed their outcome.
As the discussion and group activities continued, it was very fun as when I listened to their answers after each group activity, I could say that they had learned and got the lesson this topic would give to them.
I just thank everyone for they kept on participating every time I asked them and when I heard their answers, I could say to myself that I had done very well. Above all this, I cannot do all of this without the help and guidance of God.
Our session just ended around 10:30 in the morning and thank God for it was a successful event for all of us. They have then filled up their attendance, so they have proof of attending the Session as I submitted it to the DSWD.
After a while, we then went home together with one of our young people who assisted me throughout the whole activity today. We just thank God for we just went home safe and very happy.

Wow maayu kay naay engaging activity and session ang 4Ps diha pastor, mas ma build gyud ang every family ba, direa Kay wala man gud pero nagasulat rami ug modules, which is very helpful gyud for family how to handle responsibility etc..
