Cooking Traditional Desserts with Love

A pleasant good evening @asean.hive family 😙 tomorrow is Friday hubby is coming home from his night mode shift. I imagine how tired he is, the twelve hours of sleepless duty while me and the kids are sleeping soundly. I know how hard it is but sometimes life has no choice and we are destined to be in that path.

My today's post is about a delicious leche gulaman home made from Manila. My hometown but I wasn't the one who been there but @katsuki29. She finally experience the life of his father. It was a two nights and three days stay into his uncle's house, together with her auntie. Our house is much bigger compared to them. But they don't need to paddle on a boat just to go to places to another. I even asked @katsuki29 If I let you choose what will you wanted? Our lifestyle here that you've grown into, or the lifestyle of your father in Manila that you just experienced once.

And guess what she said anywhere ma, just not like this 😞 I was speechless and amazed with her answer. But she was right maybe we're still not used to this kind of living. But leaves us no choice but to accept our faith. And the recipe is taking too long because of the drama. Even she made a hard decision she told me she enjoyed the place. The tall tress was replaced by buildings. Our endless water was replaced by floorings of the places.

They arrive at my brother in law's house. It was not her first time to be there but she wanted to stay longer. And now she did, but it was more fun if her cousin was around. But sadly it was on Gensan Mindanao with complicated reasons. She just stole picture of it 😅🤣. Her aunties decided to make some desserts.

Ingredients

1 can condensed Milk
2 evaporated Milk
I Large box of cheese
1 can kernel corn
6 medium eggs we only need the red part

Procedure

Separate the egg yolk from the white one, we only used our clean hands because we are already used to it. Only egg yolks are going to used. Beat eggs. Stir in milks and Mix with gulaman. In casserole cook over low heat with constant stirring for 10 minutes. Let it cool before Pouring into prepared plastic ware with sliced cube cheese and corns. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
I just thought she'll brought us home 😅 but what's matter most is she enjoyed her quick vacation.
