Yesterday I spent most of the day getting some supplies at the hardware store and the wood store. This last place is a family-owned business and they are very kind. I was talking with the owner showing him the outhouse plans and he invited me to get into the facility where we both discussed the best wood for the project. They should deliver it today.

In the afternoon I decided to take the bike and cycle around the village again. I stopped by the farm and took some shots, it's been raining quite a lot in the past weeks and everything is flourishing. There's lots of work to do on the farm and I decided not to start until June when I come back with my friend to help.

The fig trees are full of figs, some are rotten but still many of them look just fantastic, I can't wait to try them in a few weeks.

The roses have flourished too, there are a couple of plants by the well.

I was sad to see most of the medlars do not look nice. I will have to ask the locals to see how I can take care of the trees to get them nicer in the coming years as I love this fruit.

Here's a shot of the immense fig tree and the vines which are scattered around the boundaries of the property.

On the way back home there were some steep streets as I was going downhill. Most of the villages still have these cobblestone roads. They are very nice but a little bit of a pain to use your bike :)

As I reached the old stable I was able to take a nice warm water shower as I had my sun heater on during most of the day.

I ended the day cooking some soup for dinner.
