Today is the day we get ready for a day off, a day of rest and gathering and worship. But this day is the day we get ready for it.
Wrapping things up in the office, it's about time to shut everything down and get my mind off of mammon and on to looking forward to the Reign of God. The Reign of God is NOW, and how much more later, the Shabbat is a foretaste of His Reign now.
I will guard His Sabbath, with all of the faith that I've been granted. Increase my faith to do what is true, even if it is uncomfortable.
