It Is Thursday night, and I spent a little more moved than usual. That partly for having been shopping today, in addition to having one day with intermittent failures of electricity in my country. One does not imagine how inconvenience that it may be that energy is lost and with it the computers, bank communication systems, bank terminal points, and many other things fail. It is very true that a system, such as the electrical system, becomes the fundamental basis for the functioning of all the systems in which we move in the modern world.
So, my life was interesting today, and gave me things to reflect, while keeping calm before the failures and tried to take the situation with the best possible mood. Outside that, few things have happened to highlight in my personal life. So it is better that I proceed to share about a #History I found interesting for today. This is a celebration on the topic of the #drink, that places it in the region of #food, although as it is a cocktail I am not sure how it is classified within this whole field.
Today, May 16, it is the ‘Mimosa Day’.
So, my life was interesting today, and gave me things to reflect, while keeping calm before the failures and tried to take the situation with the best possible mood. Outside that, few things have happened to highlight in my personal life. So it is better that I proceed to share about a #History I found interesting for today. This is a celebration on the topic of the #drink, that places it in the region of #food, although as it is a cocktail I am not sure how it is classified within this whole field.

And I must confess that when reading the word #Mimosa, the first thing that came to my mind was the plant of that name, of beautiful small and yellow flowers. But that is not the case today. Es la noche del jueves, y he pasado un día un poco más movido que lo usual. Eso en parte por haber estado de compras hoy, además de que tuve un día con fallas intermitentes de electricidad en mi país. Uno no se imagina lo inconveniente que puede ser que se pierda la energía y con ello fallen las computadoras, los sistemas de comunicación bancaria, los puntos de pago de terminales bancarias, y otras muchas cosas. Es bien cierto que un sistema, como el Sistema Eléctrico, se convierte en la base fundamental para el funcionamiento de todos los sistemas en los que nos movemos en el mundo moderno.
Así que, mi vida hoy estuvo interesante, y me dio cosas para reflexionar, mientras mantenía la calma ante las fallas y procuraba llevar la situación con el mejor ánimo posible. Fuera de eso, han pasado pocas cosas de resaltar en mi vida personal. Así que es mejor que yo proceda a compartir sobre una Efemérides de la #Historia que encontré interesante para hoy. Se trata de una celebración en el tema de las #bebidas, eso la ubica en el reglón de #comida, aunque como es un cóctel no estoy seguro de cómo se clasifica dentro de todo este campo.

Bueno, supongo que el que viniera a mi mente de primero la idea de la flor es un efecto de mi difunta tía mayor, que era una apasionada de la jardinería recreativa, y también al hecho de que (en realidad) yo bebo muy poco #licor. Así que mi ‘cultura etílica’ no es tan vasta y completa como se podría esperar a mi edad (sonrisa personal).
Un coctel es una bebida en la que se mezclan licores, zumos, cremas, especias y frutas, para crear una obra de arte efímera, deliciosa, y cargada de significados. Al menos es lo que comentaba una prima pequeña hace años, cuando ella estudiaba para ser bartender. Recuerdo ese tiempo, y el cómo ella trabajaba para hacer copas interesantes, ya fuera con bebidas suaves, con bebidas de alto grado alcohólico, o incluso con bebidas que no tenían nada de alcohol.
