"Explosions of Chromatic Consciousness"
Hello Hive family!
Today I would love to share with you the final result of my latest painting.
The idea is to achieve this abstract painting of a human silhouette.
I am not a hundred percent happy with the result as it is a bit different from what I had in mind. But still, I like it.
Next one I will try to get some even more abstract portraits. What do you think of this one?
First I started drawing a very simple and quick line drawing to get the silhouette with charcoal. And started painting the background with different tones of red to ochre
After that I added a base of a random color palette to the figure.
And started to paint with my spatula to give another abstract layer to it.
And on the guys figure.
To finish it I wanted this guy's head to explode with colours, simulating all his thoughts coming out. It was a difficult decision but I think it paid off. Do you like that bit?
