¿No les ha pasado que desean mucho algo y sienten cómo se escurre entre sus dedos siempre que lo tienen cerca? Más o menos, ese sentimiento es el que da origen a esta idea, junto, por supuesto, a la tan popular estrella que concede deseos, por eso la protagonista de esta obra, flota en el espacio, en el cielo nocturno, con su mayor anhelo en el corazón y tratando de alcanzar a la tan ansiada estrella con el poder para otorgarle aquello que ha cautivado su interés.
Como siempre, inicio mi dibujo con un boceto a lápiz de grafito en una hoja de papel de mi cuaderno a rayas, al principio uso el lápiz más claro que tengo y con él trazo lo que sería la figura base, con la que defino la postura de mi personaje y luego, con un lápiz más oscuro, hago las líneas definitivas de mi dibujo, con las características precisas, como el movimiento de su cabello o las facciones de su rostro y todos los detalles que imagine.

More or less, that feeling is the one that gives origin to this idea, together, of course, with the so popular star that grants wishes, that is why the protagonist of this work, floats in space, in the night sky, with her greatest desire in her heart and trying to reach the so longed star with the power to grant her that which has captivated her interest.
As always, I start my drawing with a graphite pencil sketch on a sheet of paper from my lined notebook, at first I use the lightest pencil I have and with it I draw what would be the base figure, with which I define the posture of my character and then, with a darker pencil, I make the final lines of my drawing, with the precise characteristics, such as the movement of her hair or the features of her face and all the details I imagine.

Una vez está listo el boceto, le tomo una fotografía con mi celular e importo dicha foto a mi lienzo en la aplicación para dibujo llamada Ibis Paint X, allí es donde dibujo con ayuda de mi dedo. Así que es momento del line art, por lo que creando una nueva capa, tomo el pincel tipo pluma y hago las líneas de mi dibujo en color negro. En otra capa, con el mismo pincel pero en un tono gris, hago las líneas del cuerpo tras el vestido.

Once the sketch is ready, I take a picture of it with my cell phone and import it to my canvas in the drawing application called Ibis Paint X, that's where I draw with the help of my finger. So it's time for the line art, so creating a new layer, I take the pen brush and make the lines of my drawing in black color. On another layer, with the same brush but in a gray tone, I make the lines of the body behind the dress.

Para los colores base creo una nueva capa, en esta ocasión hice algo diferente a lo habitual, ya que quería un efecto de transparencia en la tela del vestido de la chica, por lo que con la herramienta de relleno, coloqué el tono de la piel en las partes del cuerpo cubiertas por la ropa, después, creé otra capa (estas dos capas están en modo multiplicar) y en ella coloqué todos los colores base, de esta forma, al estar superpuestos los colores del cuerpo y el vestido, conseguí el efecto que buscaba.

For the base colors I create a new layer, this time I did something different than usual, because I wanted an effect of transparency in the fabric of the girl's dress, so with the fill tool, I placed the skin tone in the parts of the body covered by the clothes, then, I created another layer (these two layers are in multiply mode) and in it I placed all the base colors, in this way, being superimposed the colors of the body and the dress, I got the effect I was looking for.

En la siguiente capa, hago todo el sombreado, así que la capa debe estar también en modo multiplicar y el pincel a utilizar es el tipo aerógrafo, tomando colores apenas un poco más oscuros que los de la base y aplicando los trazos en las zonas necesarias.

Sombras / Shades
Es el turno de las luces, así que esta capa estará en modo normal, he utilizado el mismo pincel tipo aerógrafo porque me parece que da el degradado perfecto en los bordes del trazo. Esta vez, selecciono colores más claros que los de la base.

It is the turn of the highlights, so this layer will be in normal mode, I have used the same airbrush because I find that it gives the perfect gradient on the edges of the stroke. This time, I select lighter colors than the base.
Luces / Lights
Para el rubor continuo con el mismo tipo de pincel y en una nueva capa, aplico el tono rosa en los lugares estratégicos, mejilla, nariz, mentón, oreja, codo, manos y piernas.

For the blush I continue with the same type of brush and in a new layer, I apply the pink tone in the strategic places, cheek, nose, chin, ear, elbow, hands and legs.
Rubor / Blush
Para el fondo, he utilizado dos capas, en la primera apliqué un color morado grisáceo con el pincel tipo acuarela, luego, desde la parte de abajo subiendo hasta la mitad aproximadamente, un morado bastante oscuro. En la siguiente capa di toques de un morado más claro que los empleados anteriormente. También agregué pequeñas estrellas amarillas con el pincel tipo rotulador en distintos tamaños del trazo y por último, con el pincel tipo aerógrafo, tracé un resplandor circular alrededor de la estrella del deseo que ilumina también el rostro de la protagonista.
Obviamente el “blanco mágico” no podía faltar, dando esos pequeños toques de brillo que tanto me gustan. Espero que les haya gustado este dibujo ¡Muchas gracias por leerme!

For the background, I used two layers, in the first one I applied a grayish purple color with the watercolor brush, then, from the bottom up to the middle approximately, a quite dark purple. In the next layer I gave touches of a lighter purple than the ones used before. I also added small yellow stars with the marker brush in different stroke sizes and finally, with the airbrush, I traced a circular glow around the star of desire that also illuminates the face of the protagonist.
Obviously the “magic white” could not be missing, giving those little touches of brightness that I like so much. I hope you liked this drawing. Thank you very much for reading it!
