A day in Leiden. From pouring rain to blue skies. All in one morning.
Getting wet - windmill in the background
Some historical buildings and great architecture:

Sheltering in the Station
Looking for a place to eat
delicious kroketten
Turkey Club Sandwich
My Dad and I took a train ride from Diemen South to Schiphol South. Then Schiphol south to Leiden.
Leiden is a bustling city with thousands of young people. When we arrived it started raining and we walked in the rain stopping at the odd shop for the next 3,5 hours.
We struggled to find a quality restaurant at the station. Walked back out to a corner bistro. I had a Turkey Club sandwich and my Dad had delicious kroketten. I had a Coke Zero and my Dad tried a local beer which he said was delicious.
We walked past various museums but it was raining and many places were closed.
A great tour!

Loved your pics Lee especially the one showing Pretorius straat. That was interesting. Well our weather is the same today so all your pics were totally realistic.
