What a treat I had this afternoon. Mother's Day is on the second Sunday of May in Cyprus (where I am presently) and in South Africa and in the Netherlands.

We started out the day listening to a sermon and I was moved as my late mother's favourite bible verse was quoted and I thought that was quite fitting for Mother's Day. For I know the plans I have for you, saith the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope
So grateful that I am blessed with a loving family with whom I can spend so many special days. My son, Lee, is in the Netherlands so was not able to join us today - but earlier in the year I was able to celebrate the UK Mother's Day with him - and he took me to the cinema and spoilt me with lots of treats.
Driving into this area Liopetra was like visiting a brand new country. It was so different there. Eden had discovered it when she filmed some footage for Worth the Wait still to be released. Very special that now I can watch the music video and know that I have visited this beautiful place.
It was also so special that the lone fisherman caught a fish whilst we were having lunch and looked back to see that we acknowledged him and you could see he felt so proud.
Highly recommend this lovely restaurant - a hidden gem!! Situated right on the beach.

You are so very lucky to have your children with you. I am lucky enough to have spent Mothers Day with my handsome husband who booked us to have lunch at an amazing restaurant, even Beautiful scenery.
So happy that David did that for you. You are a very deserving mother and I'm sure your children thought about you all day !!
Well, time has passed but so true. My children did think of me even though two of them live overseas and the other two far away I did not feel forgotten and unloved. I am definitely blessed.
