Hola querida comunidad, todavía estamos en la semana y el mes de las madres, así que hoy continuo con mi experiencia en la celebración de este año. El miércoles 15 de mayo se celebró este día en la escuela donde mi hija estudia, ella va en el sexto grado y este año sale para el bachillerato, así que sería el último agasajo del Día de la Madre que este grupo de niños haría para sus mamás dentro de la escuela.
La temática para el día eran los años 80. Así que ese sería el ritmo de música que se escucharía y bailaría. Yo no encontré nada que ponerme alusivo a esos años, así que solo me hice una cola de caballo en el cabello y me coloqué un pañuelo de colores. La invitación digital que sería enviada a todas las mamás de la escuela por Whatsapp, la hice yo, no soy una experta en Canva, pero gracias a Hive he podido adquirir un poco de destreza con la aplicación, entonces pude colaborar en esa parte.
Hello dear community, we are still in the week and month of mothers, so today I continue with my experience in this year’s celebration. On Wednesday May 15 this day was celebrated at the school where my daughter studies, she is in the sixth grade and this year she is leaving for high school, so it would be the last Mother’s Day celebration that this group of children would do for their moms at school.
The theme for the day was the 80s. So that would be the beat of the music that would be played and danced to. I couldn’t find anything to wear that alluded to those years, so I just put my hair in a ponytail and wore a colorful scarf. I made the digital invitation that would be sent to all the moms of the school by Whatsapp, I am not an expert in Canva, but thanks to Hive I have been able to acquire a little skill with the application, so I could collaborate in that part.
En la escuela los actos culturales siempre se han presentado por orden, por lo que comienzan los niños de preescolar y terminan los de sexto grado, como es una escuela muy pequeña en la que solo hay una sección por grado, las presentaciones pasan rápido y luego nos vamos a los salones para compartir, en el caso que haya algo que compartir.
Los niños de sexto grado presentaron un remix de varias canciones bastantes movidas de la época, como eran bastantes niños a Andrea le tocó en la última fila y fue un poco difícil tomar fotografías en la que se viera bien, aunque en un momento intercambiaron y quedó en la segunda fila. De igual manera tome el video de toda la presentación que duró aproximadamente 10 minutos, esos niños terminaron muy agotados.
In the school the cultural events have always been presented in order, so the preschoolers start and the sixth graders finish, as it is a very small school where there is only one section per grade, the presentations pass quickly and then we go to the classrooms to share, in case there is something to share.
The sixth graders presented a remix of several songs of the time, as there were quite a few children Andrea was in the last row and it was a little difficult to take pictures in which she looked good, although at one point they exchanged and she was in the second row. I also took the video of the whole presentation that lasted about 10 minutes, those kids ended up very exhausted.
Cuando terminaron los actos y como habían dispuesto un punto para tomar fotografías muy bonito, esperamos que pasaran por ahí muchas personas para luego nosotras también tener la oportunidad de tomar fotografías y nos tomamos dos que quedaron muy bonitas.
Luego Andrea se fue a jugar con sus amigas y yo aproveché para tomarme fotos en una cartelera que me pareció bella y también con la pancarta de bienvenida que no se quedaba atrás.
When the acts were over and as they had arranged a very nice spot to take pictures, we waited for many people to pass by and then we also had the opportunity to take pictures and we took two that were very nice.
Then Andrea went to play with her friends and I took the opportunity to take pictures on a billboard that I thought was beautiful and also with the welcome banner that was not far behind.
Para culminar, Andrea me entregó de obsequio unas galletas elaboradas por la maestra con sus estudiantes, estaban en una especie de estuche o no sé cómo llamarle que hicieron con foami escarchado, habían galletas de mantequilla, avena con canela y avena con chocolate. A mí me gustaron las de avena, las dos, aunque las de canela creo que estaban más sabrosas.
De esta manera celebré el Día de la Madre en la escuela con mi hija, y será la última vez, porque ya en el bachillerato no hacen este tipo de agasajo o al menos donde estudió mi hijo el año pasado no lo hicieron y en el colegio donde estudia este año tampoco. Así que es un evento exclusivo para las escuelas primarias.
To finish, Andrea gave me as a gift some cookies made by the teacher with her students, they were in a kind of case or I don’t know what to call it that they made with frosted foami, there were butter cookies, oatmeal with cinnamon and oatmeal with chocolate. I liked the oatmeal ones, both of them, although the cinnamon ones I think were tastier.
This is how I celebrated Mother’s Day at school with my daughter, and it will be the last time, because in high school they don’t do this kind of celebration, or at least where my son studied last year they didn’t do it and in the school where he is studying this year they don’t do it either. So it is an exclusive event for elementary schools.
