Do you believe that weekends are much more productive days than weekdays? well for me, I think yes! It is indeed productive on weekends. Nevertheless, on weekends I am not guilty of taking a rest. We have the privilege to treat ourselves on a nice quick vacation or to sleep all day.
Hello everyone it's @mkyzxna your traveler slash storyteller of the day! This blog of mine is a representation of my weekend experience in Raniola Beach in Catmon, Cebu.
As a freshman in college, I face a lot of difficulties. I never thought that going to school was super draining. One time, after our hell week, I and my friends gathered after the exam. As we talk and talk about our tests, and grades we jump on another topic. We have decided that to regain our consciousness we should go to a beach.
It doesn't have that stable plan, we keep on choosing cheap and beautiful resorts but as we read on its review it has bad reviews. However, I remembered one of the fantastic beaches in our North Province. I suggested that we should go there to unwind. But, it was near my hometown and it will take 2 hours to get there, and my friends are from the City. So we think about our sudden decision about this beach thing. My friends decided to go there since it's convenient for me. ( I love my friends)
Since they're living in the City, they gathered early in the North Bus Terminal at exactly 6 AM. They decided to be early to have more time to enjoy themselves. So as they traveled to the given destination, I on the other hand cleaned the whole house first so that my mom would let me go out. Even though I am 18 years old, I still lean on my parents' decisions. I believe that they know more than me.
So after I cleaned the house and did some of the household chores, my parents were still hesitant to let me go out. But, I told them that I'd be safe and I would not do anything to break their trust plus my friends came from the city just to be with me. They finally agreed, as long I will not do anything stupid.
Excitedly, I packed my things and did a little makeup. After my preparations, I directly walk to the highway to ride a bus. The place is quite far from us but still, it's nearer than the city.
My sweat was rolling down my face when I got there. It was very hot but the place is a kaleidoscope! It has cute Nipa Huts for families, groups of friends and couples.
I was dumbfounded when I looked around and didn't see my friends. I thought that they didn't show up. I'm about to go back to our house and talk to them in our GC but to my surprise, they're just in one Nipa Huts taking pictures. I immediately ran to them as I saw them.
As I roamed my eyes around the place it was still majestic and more beautiful than before! I came there once, it was after the quarantine and it was the birthday of our daughter's neighbor. They invited our family that time and of course, without hesitation, we came.
The place brings good memories and laughter! The waves and the scorching light of sunshine bring joy and hope. The Nipa Huts on the left side near the trees give this spring day vibes when the leaves are falling. (Nostalgia) The fresh air that hits our faces is fresh, the water is clear and clean.
The surroundings are full of families and friends, families are celebrating their togetherness, there are circles of friends that are celebrating birthdays, and there are also couples that are taking pictures.
The kids are going back and forth on the shore. Well, me and my friends are eating and appreciating nature's beauty. After we finally decided to take pictures; we couldn't leave this place without making good memories! We explored the place to find a good spot for Instagrammable pics.
Amidst the scorching sunlight, we continue to take different posts and different places for a nice view. The view is super giving! (chef's kiss) After taking good pictures we enjoy the day and swamp on the cold water.
Me and my friends talk about life, goals after college and where will be our destination after graduation. It was a moment where we realized that we're not getting any younger and as we step into this new journey of life we need to be more responsible. The calm and steady shore brings us the realization that in order reach our goals we need to work hard for it! (hahaha this place is something)
If you're looking for a nice view for Instagrammable pics and a place to realize, well, stop looking for more! Because this beach resort will offer you a good memorable journey. What are you waiting for? Set the date and book a van!

Wow!🤩 The place is so nice for bonding with friends. We are also planning to bond together because college life is coming and we will be busy and can't have time anymore.☹️ Separating from the people you are comfortable with is sad, but you need to accept it because that's how life works.😊 And you have wonderful friends, too. Giving yourself as a break like this is a must, especially as a college student you will really need a breather after the tiring and really full packed academic stuffs y'all face. It's good you all know when to give yourself a break. Even a short trip lioe this is already big enough. And buti pinayagan kauo ng inyong mga parents ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ. Anyways, nakakamiss talaga mag beach, huhu. And you are enjoying the pictorial so much ha, you are very good sa pag pose. Sene ell. I'll get you as my mentor if ever I need to go to the beach and I want a pretty photos like those (≧▽≦)
