I've always found AI's abilities fascinating. Nowadays, to create a presentation like this, I'd need to give some simple instructions to Copilot or Chat GPT and I'd be all set. However, that's not the case this time.
My name is Antonio, and I am currently 23 years old. I come from a small town almost forgotten by time, a place that, despite the difficulties, still stands. I am the son of a farmer father and a housewife mother, and from a young age, I have had a deep connection with nature.
Siempre me han parecido fascinantes las capacidades de la IA. Hoy en día, para crear una presentación como esta, necesitaría darle algunas instrucciones simples a Copilot o Chat GPT y estaría todo listo. Sin embargo, ese no es el caso esta vez.
Mi nombre es Antonio y actualmente tengo 23 años. Vengo de un pequeño pueblo casi olvidado por el tiempo, un lugar que, a pesar de las dificultades, sigue en pie. Soy hijo de padre campesino y madre ama de casa, y desde pequeño he tenido una profunda conexión con la naturaleza.
I could get lost for hours in all that green without any fear. In our lands, we grew everything: tomatoes, papayas, peppers, cucumbers, eggplants, and lots of corn, but above all, there was my greatest enemy... tobacco. Yes! My family has been mainly involved in tobacco farming for generations. Since I was young, the cultivation of tobacco seemed appalling to me, as there seemed to be no greater use for it other than manufacturing cigarettes and cigars. I always wondered... how many people are we harming with just one harvest? But despite never agreeing with this practice, I couldn't change anything.
Podría perderme durante horas en todo ese verde sin ningún miedo. En nuestras tierras se cultivaba de todo: tomates, papayas, pimientos, pepinos, berenjenas y mucho maíz, pero sobre todo estaba mi mayor enemigo... el tabaco. ¡Sí! Mi familia se dedica principalmente al cultivo de tabaco desde hace generaciones. Desde joven el cultivo del tabaco me parecía espantoso, ya que no parecía haber mayor uso para él que la fabricación de cigarrillos y puros. Siempre me pregunté... ¿a cuántas personas estamos perjudicando con solo una cosecha? Pero a pesar de nunca estar de acuerdo con esta práctica, no pude cambiar nada.
After a long day of heat and work, all that remained for me were the landscapes, the details of the sunlight caressing the clouds and the treetops, the gentle afternoon breeze, and the starry night sky. It was a universe of possibilities waiting to be discovered. I fell deeply in love with the lush greenery of the trees and the roaring of the rivers. During my time in those fertile and isolated lands, I had the joy of capturing some of their beauty.
Después de un largo día de calor y trabajo, lo único que me quedó fueron los paisajes, los detalles de la luz del sol acariciando las nubes y las copas de los árboles, la suave brisa de la tarde y el cielo nocturno estrellado. Era un universo de posibilidades esperando a ser descubierto. Me enamoré profundamente del exuberante verdor de los árboles y del rugido de los ríos. Durante mi estancia en aquellas tierras fértiles y aisladas, tuve la dicha de capturar algo de su belleza.
I found peace in the petrichor that lingered after the rain, and sometimes just before it stopped raining, the sun would break through the clouds and gift me magnificent sunsets. There were so many that I can hardly remember them all, but these are things I miss about those distant lands. At least I took advantage of that environment to unleash my creativity. For a while, I experimented with editing photographs like these:

I am currently in Mérida, a small city surrounded by immense mountains and a phenomenal climate. Since 2018, I have been dedicated to studying Industrial Design. Alongside this, I have acquired additional skills such as property sales. I managed this while working as a virtual assistant and also utilized some spare time to compose songs. I still thoroughly enjoy the musical composition. If I could dedicate my life to creating songs and make a living from it, it would be a dream come true. However, I understand that this dream will have to wait a little longer.
Actualmente me encuentro en Mérida, una pequeña ciudad rodeada de inmensas montañas y un clima fenomenal. Desde 2018 me dedico a estudiar Diseño Industrial. Paralelamente a esto, he adquirido habilidades adicionales como la venta de propiedades. Logré esto mientras trabajaba como asistente virtual y también utilicé algo de tiempo libre para componer canciones. Todavía disfruto mucho de la composición musical. Si pudiera dedicar mi vida a crear canciones y vivir de ello, sería un sueño hecho realidad. Sin embargo, entiendo que este sueño tendrá que esperar un poco más.
Life is like a whirlwind of experiences happening all at once; every hand has a different fingerprint, and every mind is a universe. I'm glad to have written a fragment of who I am and what I represent. I'm also excited to hear about your experiences.
