We have learned that there are sins which are unto death and those which are not unto death. The sins which are unto death are unpardonable sins. Those sins which are not unto death are pardonable.
When we sin out of circumstances or eventualities, if we confess our sins, we will be forgiven. But if we sin willfully in those things which we are told not to, we might not be pardoned.
Blasphemy Against The Holy Spirit
Matthew 12:31-32 (KJV) Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
Speaking blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is an unpardonable sin. We should be careful with what we say about the Holy Spirit. There is no forgiveness either in this world or in the world to come for those who blaspheme against the Holy Spirit.
Acts 15:28-29 (KJV) For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
Idolatry
Idolatry is one of the sins we must run away from. The apostles told the church by the Holy Spirit to abstain from meat offered to idols. We should not be part of any form of idolatry. We should not share in the worship of other gods. Partaking in the worship rituals of other gods or eating the food offered to them is a sin.
Abstain From Blood And Strangled Meat
Eating blood is forbidden in the church. We should abstain from eating blood and strangled meat. Strangled Meat is meat which dies without pouring out the blood. It is a sin to eat that.
Flee Fornication
We should not commit fornication. Fornication is a sin which God hates. These are the sins we have been warned in the Bible to stay away from.
