What’s up Hive! It is been a long time that I observed something unusual in my body, though I just ignore it. I started having this pain six years ago when I started gaining weight and stop breastfeeding my child. I just thought that it is just a hormonal imbalance that happening inside my body and the normal effect or a normal changes of the woman’s body after giving birth.
The pain in my breast and in my right and left abdomen is just manageable for years and it does not happened often that is why I did not put too much attention on it. I also have back pain, starting from the point near my breast going to my lower back.

There was a time that I cannot stand straight after sitting for a longer hour, and when I stand, I feel the same pain again for almost five minutes and my left arm and my left leg cannot be moved.

Lately, I feel so much pain on the side of my right and left breast. It is not an ordinary pain for me, and it also happens that I feel the same pain at the same time on the both side of my abdomen. That is the reason why I decided to go to the Doctor last Saturday, May 11, 2024 in Sogod, Cebu which is the only nearest Medical Clinic with Medical laboratory for me.
There is also a Medical Clinic in my hometown with a very good doctor, however they only do check-up. They do not have a Medical Laboratory Test in their clinic, but they also give referral to do a Medical Laboratory Test.

Sadly, the Doctor who is In-charge on that day is out. She is attending an important health related seminar according to the front desk of the clinic. I like the clinic because they are open from Monday to Saturday. They have Family Doctor to do check-up and after the check-up, I can have a Laboratory Test right away because it is already available in their clinic. The person in-charge on the front desk told me to go back on Monday, May 13, 2024. However, I was not able to go back because I have a one week seminar in our District, starting from May 13 until May 17, from 8 o’clock in the morning until 5 o’clock in the afternoon.
Waiting for a bus going home
I am planning to go back to the Doctor next week after the reading of our school forms. I do not have duty on Saturday, but I have a lot of urgent work to do at home. It is the only time for me to finish it because I will be busy next week also for our school forms.

I made a promise to my beloved Mother and to myself that I will go back to the Doctor before this month will end.
My Mother is very worried about me because my son is still very young and she does not want that something bad going to happen to me. In fact, I was surprised because she offered me money from her pension to use it for my Medical check-up. It is not a huge amount. It is only seven thousand pesos, and I knew that she save that money for how many months from her two thousand five hundred pesos pension that she receives every month.

I told her that I am supposedly be the one to give help to you, not that you will be the one to give help to me. I do not want to accept her help because I knew how hard she saves that money, but she keeps insisting. So, I told her that okay, I will take the money, however I will pay you back. She said that it is up to me and she is not asking me to pay her back.

After knowing that the Doctor is not available that time, my niece and I just directly went home. We wait for the bus route going to our hometown. I take pictures of the surroundings while waiting for the bus. When I arrived home, I directly returned the seven thousand pesos to my mother. She was surprised because we went home too early and I returned the money.
I told her the story of what happened to our appointment that day and she understand. She just told me not to wait too long to go back to the Doctor for check-up. She reminded me of what happened to my father before. His body is talking to him about the pain, but he does not listen to it, until it is getting worst and it is getting complicated.
I see the pain on my mother’s eyes and how worried she is. I just talk to her calmly and make a joke that nothing is going to happen to me because I am a witch.
