Building my garden

break.png

I have always wanted a garden, but starting one seemed like so much work and it would get overwhelming and I would put it off until the next year, and then just continue to put it off.

One of most overwhelming things was trying to figure out where to plant everything and get it all set up.

Instead of doing raised beds or planting in my yard, I decided to just plant some tomato plants in some of my extra five gallon pots.

I got three tomato plants from Costco and transplanted them into the larger pots. They are still pretty small, but should take off with growth soon.

I dont really know much about tomato plants and how the actual tomato is formed, but I am guessing they will grow from these flowers.

The strawberry plant I got is really cool. I have never had strawberry plants before and I had no idea that the actual flower turns into the strawberries. It is cool seeing all the different stages of growth.

We have been eating a lot of strawberries each week, so having a few strawberry plants will be really cool. I wonder how much different they will taste compared to the store bought strawberries.

My wife and I just got back from Home Depot, where we bought some more plants that we are going to be planting in our yard.

We are trying to plan out all the different types of plants we will be putting in the yard so we can have an assortment of bees, hummingbirds and other birds in the yard.

It is going to be pretty cool to see all the diversity that our yard brings in.

Nice close-up photography, the strawberry one really looks cool. For more tomatoes to grow, you can add dried straine tea leaves. They are very effective jn growing.

From my garden, taken few weeks ago

That's really cool. I will have to look into it.

You get immense result. But you need enough sunlight also.

They will have plenty of sun. It shines nonstop here.

👍🙂

Awesome photographs of your new plants man.

I think it's really cool that you're trying some new plants out in the back yard this year.

Trying out the plants in pots instead of the ground is not a bad idea at all, in fact it may be a better idea for some plants. I might actually just build raised beds next year so I don't have to contend with the invasive weeds that are already taking over.

The strawberry plant is wicked cool. The shades that come through the leaves are reminiscent of cannabis to me, and your plant looks ultra healthy.

Can't wait to see what you produce with these plants by the end of the season.

Thanks man. Planting them in pots is a lot less daunting for me because they seem more manageable. Hopefully I am able to keep all of these watered and they do great.

These are very awesome ❤️ I really love it. I'm so amazed because I love planting too. Planting is very satisfying, keep up the nice job.

Thank you

You're welcome 🤗

Very cool! Strawberries are wonderful! Finally in here is warming up… probably we will have strawberries in June probably lol.

Nice, I cant wait for my strawberries to be ready. They are delicious.

So nice to see strawberries grow over there as over here we don’t grow strawberries and strawberries look so nice.

I love strawberries. I wonder why they dont grow there. Have you ever tried? They seem pretty easy.

You’re doing a good job planting all those flowers
I’ve always loved to have a garden too and I’m sure it will be a dream come true someday

Ive always wanted one too. Just start small and build from there.

All these positions are looking very beautiful in a very special way you have photographed them. It is a fact that what we apply with our own hands when it grows in a good way is much more. There is happiness.

Thanks. I am excited to do more gardening and to nourish my body with what i grow from the land.

Most welcome dear.

got strawberries from runners so that saves you 1 year at least right there.

As for the tomatoes it is just like weed bro, the same regime you use for your plants will be proper to use on the tomatoes, another thing to keep in mind is to trimm the plants for best growth, if you do not it will be harder to grow and harvest. This image shows it well, if you leave them fuckers lower hanging they will take energy and worst they will activly grow roots soon they hit the soil and hence suck more energy and so on. Cut them off!

Cheers bro!
