Hi! My name is Maholi Ramos. I am from Venezuela and I want to introduce you to a hidden paradise called "Yapascua".
Yapascua Lagoon is a body of water located on the coast of the Puerto Cabello Municipality in the north of the Carabobo State, here in Venezuela. I discovered this place a few years ago with a good friend and immediately fell in love. It always came to mind, and that's why I'm posting it now because I want to show you what it's like and tell you what you need to know to take this trip if you feel like doing it.
This trip start in Baia de Patanemo. From there, You need to walk about 5.08 km through the mountain (I highly recommend doing this hike in the first hour in the morning, using sunscreen and mosquito repellent). During the tour, there are different reliefs whose difficulty is medium. You will see very diverse fauna and flora, and some impressive viewpoints.

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Maholi Ramos. Soy de Venezuela y quiero presentarles un paraíso escondido llamado "Yapascua".
La Laguna Yapascua es un cuerpo de agua ubicado en la costa del Municipio Puerto Cabello al norte del Estado Carabobo, aquí en Venezuela. Descubrí este lugar hace unos años con una buena amiga y de inmediato me enamoré. Siempre viene a mi mente, y por eso decidí publicarlo, porque quiero mostrarte cómo es y decirte lo que necesitas saber para realizar este viaje, sí te apetece hacerlo.
Este viaje comienza en Bahía de Patanemo. Desde allí, debes caminar unos 5,08 km a través de la montaña (recomiendo ampliamente hacer esta caminata en la primera hora de la mañana, usando protector solar y repelente de mosquitos). Durante el recorrido se encuentran diferentes relieves cuya dificultad es media. Verás fauna y flora muy diversa, y algunos miradores impresionantes.
In a few hours, you will find this hidden paradise, Yapascua.
This view took my breath away, and it was just the beginning. We made a short walk through the water (I recommend you bring beach shoes). Then, we arrived at the place established to build our camp.
Note: I need to let you know that if you want to make this journey, you must bring all you need for your stay because this is a virgin place. There is no fresh or potable water, electricity, or food, so you can't buy anything.
Here is the view from my tent. I went to sleep with the sounds of the sea as my dream melody. It was amazing.

A pocas horas de caminata, encontrarás este paraíso escondido, Yapascua.
Esta vista me dejó sin aliento y fue solo el comienzo. Hicimos una corta caminata atravesando el agua (recomiendo llevar calzado de playa) para llegar al lugar establecido para construir nuestro campamento.
Nota: Necesito dejarte saber que si deseas realizar este viaje debes traer todo lo necesario para tu estadía porque este es un lugar virgen. No hay agua dulce o potable, electricidad, ni alimentos, por lo que no se puede comprar nada.
Aquí está la vista desde mi tienda. Me fui a dormir con los sonidos del mar como melodía de mis sueños. Fue increíble.
We enjoyed the beach all day, every part of this place was stonin. At night, I lived a magical moment with bioluminescence. I felt like a little girl in a Disney movie. It is unforgettable.
Unfortunately, my digital camera was not able to take a good photograph of this magical moment, so I cannot share it with you except in words.
Anyway, this was my experience in Yapascua. I hope you like it and that one day you decide to visit it if you have an opportunity.

Disfrutamos de la playa todo el día, cada parte de este lugar era espectacular. Por la noche viví un momento mágico con la bioluminiscencia. Me sentí como una niña pequeña en una película de Disney. Es inolvidable.
Desafortunadamente, mi cámara digital no pudo tomar una buena fotografía de este momento mágico, por lo que no puedo compartirla con ustedes excepto con palabras.
