A couple of weeks ago I had a date with my friend Alejandra who is also a photographer and who had just bought a camera of the same brand and model as mine, so we decided to meet to explain her a little about my methods of taking pictures and also to do some street photography, since we would be together, but then it occurred to us that it would be interesting to be each other's model, so I agreed and we started to do a pretty spontaneous session and these are some of the pictures I took of her, so I hope you like them as much as I do.
Hace un par de semanas había quedado con mi amiga Alejandra quien también es fotógrafa y que justo había comprado una cámara de la misma marca y modelo que la mía, por lo que decidimos vernos para explicarle un poco mis métodos de hacer fotografías y también para hacer algunas callejeras, ya que estaríamos juntos, pero luego se nos ocurrió que estaría interesante ser el modelo del otro, por lo que yo accedí y empezamos a hacer una sesión bastante espontánea y estas son algunas de las fotografías que yo le hice a ella, por lo que espero que les gusten tanto como a mí.
She, like me, are not models, we are used to being behind the camera where we have control of everything, so it cost us a little to enter into the confidence of the models who begin to let go and model without problems. We tried to make it more enjoyable by talking in the process, making conversation and the occasional joke, so, little by little, both she and I were calmer when modeling. Of course here I only show you the pictures I took of her, soon I will share the pictures of me modeling.
Ella, al igual que yo, no somos modelos, estamos acostumbrados a estar detrás de la cámara donde tenemos el control de todo, por lo que, nos costó un poco el entrar en esa confianza de los modelos que empiezan a soltarse y modelar sin problemas. Nosotros intentamos hacerlo más ameno hablando en el proceso, sacando conversación y algún que otro chiste, por lo que, poco a poco, tanto ella como yo estuvimos más tranquilos al momento de modelar. Por supuesto que aquí solo les muestro las fotos que yo le hice a ella, pronto compartiré las mías siendo modelo.
For these pictures we met in a square, a place where I have taken pictures before, but it is always a safe place to take a variety of interesting pictures and it is also a place that gives a lot of freedom to always do something different, so it is an excellent place to practice. The style of editing in these photographs is the one I always like to use, but curiously the previous publications I have done do not have it, but it seemed to me that for this session it was perfect.
Para estas fotografías nos reunimos en una plaza, lugar donde ya he hecho fotos antes, pero que siempre es un lugar bastante seguro para hacer una variedad interesante de fotografías y también es un lugar que da mucha libertad de siempre hacer algo diferente, por lo que es un excelente lugar para practicar. El estilo de edición en estas fotografías es el que siempre me gusta utilizar, pero que curiosamente las anteriores publicaciones que he hecho no lo tienen, pero me parecía que para esta sesión le venía a la perfección.
So far this post, as I mentioned before, understand that neither of us is a model, so, we do the best we can in front of the camera, although I must say that, for not being used to modeling, she did pretty well and that's more than enough.
