"Royal Tern"

Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all today are these new shots of this Royal Tern with its fish catch. Now the last post a week or more back I went straight to the in flight shots of this Royal Tern with the fish in its mouth and what I said last time was so nice that it was showing off its catch, I would say for at least thirty minutes or so. Was a good thing for me so I can get many shots in on the ground and he flew three times for me to get some great in flight shots but today will be some of them on the ground, trying to be slick and trying to get his food. I got three more shots to present today and its just hard to figure out what one I should have as the cover, it happens every time on every post, I feel like that shot should be the one that pops out to grab the interest to all, so with that being said I choose this one, the one above as the cover, the Royal Tern is solo by himself with fish in beak, good detail and the way the back of the feather or hair stands up like that is just pretty dang cool if you ask me. Now the other two could be and I actually like the second one here below and always wanted that one to be a cover but I just like the above more I suppose. So the second one below is so cool, they all were chasing him with the fish, not really seeming to try and get it but it was pretty funny to see them keep creeping towards him, it started out with these three that continued doing it and they all flew like I had said before three times and then would do what is shown in my pictures.
Then it came to this, only one following him around. Maybe it was his brother protecting him or something, Haha not really sure but these three shots are just so cool and was a good day down at the beach spot I love to go to as much as possible.
