Khao Ngu Stone Park, a wonderful landmark in Ratchaburi province, Thailand

in #travel16 days ago

Khao Ngu Stone Park is one of the wonderful landmarks in Ratchaburi province, Thailand. It’s not far from Bangkok. (approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes driving by car)

This place was originally a site for blasting and crushing stones. Later, the blasting was canceled due to the deterioration of the landscape. This makes the place turn into an abandoned mine.

Ratchaburi Province has therefore developed this place into a public park and archaeological tourist attractions, named Khao Ngu Stone Park.

Khao means mountain

Ngu means snake

It’s because this limestone mountain range looks like a snake.

Khao Ngu Stone Park is a beautiful natural viewpoint where you will be surrounded by nature.

Inside Khao Ngu Stone Park, there is a rock cliff or limestone mountains and a large pond with a long walkway.

You can see this beauty from a far distance.

A view of strangely shaped limestone mountains will impress you.

I would suggest that you travel there in the morning or evening because the weather is cool, and not so hot as in the mid day.

If you love activities, there is a place to ride a mallard bike at Khao Ngu Stone Park.

The atmosphere is good for the heart, very chill, especially if you travel with your lover, it will certainly be a sweet moment.

As for the archaeological tourist attractions at Khao Ngu Stone Park, there are many caves on the mountain and this one is among them…

The highlight of Khao Ngu Stone Park is the suspension bridge that spans the pond amidst the complex valleys.

Strolling across the suspension bridge and admiring the limestone mountain is satisfying.

Standing on the bridge and enjoying the cool breeze is a very perfect moment.

If you are a photography lover, I recommend you to visit Khao Ngu Stone Park. I can guarantee that you will get lots of beautiful photos because there are many photography corners.

Or if you are looking for a place to relax for your family or your lover, this is another very interesting tourist attraction.

P.s. I used to present Khao Ngu Stone Park in my very old post. This is from a new trip from my friend.

The mountains or hills of Thailand are stunning. In Italy there are no mountainous conformations similar to those of Thailand.

Seems it is a beautiful place in the world, stones hills are awesome. really amazing photography

Very interesting place to visit!! I ought to find time for this visit one day. Winter month would be nicer and cooler.
