What’s up Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are enjoying the summer weather with your family and friends and for those who play this amazing NFT #play2earn game, I guess you are playing well and collecting your SPS and Glint rewards daily. Well, only 3 days left for this ongoing ranked season to end so I hope all of you are preparing well for it and for me, I am playing in a non-stop mode and have also been using my Glint tokens to buy more energy to play more in the ranked. As a result, I am winning juicy SPS and Glints and because of my rented SPS, I am earning even more rewards per win. I am currently playing in Diamond II tier and it is a happy rush time going for me in this game and I am enjoying every bit of it. Sadly, the market is not very fair with splinterlands as both the prices of SPS and DEC have fallen down a bit where SPS is now trading near its all-time low value of 0.00124$ per unit. So while the SPS is having a bad time, I thought why not invest some into Dec and use it to rent SPS delegations and cards to win more SPS, that's currently what I am doing. I hope the splinterlands market rectifies itself quickly and do something to recover its token prices.

Now moving on, let me come towards the main part of this post as today, I am going to discuss about a very rare card that not everybody owns in this game and if you are seeing this card being played by someone, that means he is long into the game. Yes, as you have already acknowledged from the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about Tatiana Blayde, a legendary monster from the rarest Gladius card edition. So without any further delay, let us jump right in.

Tatiana Blayde

TATIANA is a legendary card that belongs to the Neutral edition, which means you can get this card while selecting any element and that's why it becomes super useful. It belongs to the Gladius edition, the special soul-bound card edition that only actual game players get via collecting merit points and you can guess how difficult it is to get an upgraded level of this legendary card. For attack type, that's its main specialty as it possesses dual Attacks melee + range along with high speed which can be used in Melee mayhem or super sneak types matches or as you build your strategy around it. It costs 8 mana to be used in battles and apart from the dual attacks, it also carries 5 abilities at max level and luckily, I have upgraded my own Tatiana to level 3 already. Now below, let us look into it further by seeing its league-wise stats and abilities.

BRONZE

At level 1, this card possesses 2 range and 3 melee attacks at 5 speed with 5 health and it also gets / abilities since its initial level - Close Range and Bloodlust. With the Help of Close Range, it can use its range attack from the first place and with the bloodlust ability, it will increase all of its stats by 1 each time it kills down an enemy card.

SILVER

When it gets upgraded to level 2, it gets 2 range and 3 melee attack at 5 speed with 6 health and also gets a new ability called Dodge. With this new ability, now it has more chance to evade enemy melee and range attacks.

GOLD

When You upgrade this card to Gold level, its stats get increased further to 2 range and 3 melee attack at 6 speed with 6 health and also get a new ability called Inspire. With the help of this new ability, every friendly melee monster will get +1 attack power.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

When this monster finally reaches its max level 4, it possesses 2 range and 3 melee attack at 6 speed with 7 health and also gets a new ability called True Strike. By having this new ability, now this monster’s attack can not be evaded.

Battle Link

BATTLE STAT

This time I got a large 54 mana limit match where only 3 elements were allowed - Earth, Life and Death and there were 3 rulesets in this Match - Gladiators, only Range and Shield Reduce and after thinking a little about my strategy, I decided to choose the Life Summoner Ilthain and chose Drybone Raider as my front defense followed by Rune Crafter, Venari Marksrat, Tatiana Blayde, Anachron Bolter and Prismologist the end position. I wanted to give Tatiana more power here and chose the Raider at the front because of its double melee attack and Rune at reach for its high armour to protect my front.

As both the lineups got revealed, I saw that my opponent has used the Lux Vega summoner and at his front, he also chose Raider followed by Marksrat, Queen of Crows, Gargoya Devil, Liza Fox and Supply Runner at the end position.

BATTLE

As the battle started, every enemy monster started hitting my Raider and received return fire damage in return which took down their armour layer. I killed down his raider at round 1 and Marksrat at round 2 and then, while the enemy gladius got its second kill, my Tatiana came into first place by then and killed down the Queen of Crows single handed. I killed the rest 2 enemy monster easily next and thus won another great match thanks to my Tatiana.

As Tatiana can attack from the front position as well, I first placed her at the middle and after the marksrat, so that it gains some stats first and then as you can see, when it came it already had increased its stats and easily killed down the largest health enemy monster easily.

I hope you liked watching the match and also enjoyed reading my post. Let me know your thoughts about this monster in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all on my next post.

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.

You made a right choice with the summoner present in the arena.
