This time I want to share my participation for the @splinterlands art contest.
This time I wanted to try something different, many of you know me for my Kawaii style drawings, but as every artist we like to keep exploring and experimenting so lately I'm trying and learning new things. My illustration today is based on the character Blackmoor Nymph, I tried to do a portrait type composition but I still have a lot to learn. I hope you like this version, let's start...

En esta oportunidad quiero compartir mi participación para el concurso de arte de @splinterlands.
Esta vez quise probar algo diferente, muchos de ustedes me conocen por mis dibujos mas enfocados al estilo Kawaii, pero como todo artista nos gusta seguir explorando y experimentando por lo que últimamente estoy probando y aprendiendo cosas nuevas. Mi ilustración del día de hoy esta basada en el personaje Blackmoor Nymph, trate de hacer una composición tipo retrato pero aun tengo mucho por aprender. Espero les guste esta versión, comencemos..

Creative Process | Proceso Creativo💡
I started to make my sketch from an image of a real person, with the help of a thick brush I started to work on the character without thinking too much about the details. In this way I worked on the whole character, separating the elements by colours and once the sketch was finished I started to draw a thin lineart all over the character.
Then I applied the colours, as shadows I chose to use a flat style with hard shadows, trying to give great detail to the hair to give it even more shape. With the help of a soft brush I added some highlights in key points to make the character stand out a bit more.
To work on the final details I decided to give colour to some lines and I also made some kind of textures on the shirt and I also applied some glitter both on the eyes and on the glass on his forehead. I also applied a white colour in the background and made a yellow gradient rectangle as part of the background.
Comencé a realizar mi boceto a partir de una imagen de una persona real, con ayuda de un pincel punta gruesa comencé a trabajar en el personaje sin pensar mucho en los detalles. Así fui trabajando en todo el personaje, separando los elementos por colores y una vez terminado el boceto comencé a trazar un lineart delgado por todo el personaje.
Luego fui aplicando los colores, como sombras opte por utilizar un estilo plano con sombras duras, tratando de dar gran detalle al cabello para darle aun mas forma. Con ayuda de un pincel suave fui agregando algunas iluminaciones en puntos clave para hacer destacar un poco mas al personaje.
Para trabajar en los detalles finales decidí dar color a algunas líneas y también realice una especie de texturas en la camisa y también aplique algunos brillos tanto en los ojos como en el cristal en su frente. También aplique un color blanco en el fondo y realice un rectángulo con degradado amarillo como parte del fondo.
Finally I applied a new lighting layer to integrate even more the character with the background, I also made some changes to the background to keep with the theme of the character. I also added some additional details to the character to make him stand out a bit more.

Por último aplique una nueva capa de iluminación para integrar aun mas al personaje con el fondo, a este también le hice algunos cambios para seguir con la temática del propio personaje. También agregue algunos detalles adicionales en el personaje para que destacara un poco mas.
