I'm pretty active in the music scene (by feeding the musos at festivals and events) for the last 15 years or so... and been trying to find a way to onboard them for some time now... and the #VIBES contest seems like the perfect incentive.
Quick Question: Do we have to use the Ecency referral? I have enough credits to create about 400 accounts, and together with @BaasDeBeer (he runs a weekly open mic evening), we are thinking of doing all the filming, uploading & posts etc. FOR these musos (on their own accounts obvs).
We've got plans to create a community (specifically South African musos), and using that community for other/extra promos (onboarding IRL sponsors etc.)
OK, that wasn't a "quick question"... so in short: Do we have to use the ecency referral to create accounts for the onboarded musos?

I mean, just like I said above to someone asking a similar question, you can use your account credits although, I dont see why you would want to considering Ecency gives them a free account and logs them in with 1 click.
If you want to use your credits you need to respond with every name you onboard that enters Vibes below this comment so I can count them manually.
Yeah, I hear you... but just in the beginning. We're planning workshops to "hand-hold" these musos through the process (and eventually manage it, and other marketing, themselves)... but from past experience users will do 1 or 2 HIVE posts, get frustrated (uploading pics & vids is seamless on FB for example) and then fizzle out... although we're hoping Ecency mobile app having come leaps and bounds over time will make it more sustainable this time round ;-).
The plan/hope is that we manually do everything for the 1st 5 or 10 musos, and then the rest will see "how cool" it is, and follow suit.
P.S. re the tracking... these prizes were just a bonus/cherry on top and was curious ;-)

If you want to do it this way, thats completely fine. Just have them mention in the Vibes entry that you onboarded them and you just write their name here in the comment section.
