Hello, Splinters Fanatics!
Splinterlands is celebrating its 6th anniversary in the world of NFT games. This is a major milestone in the history of one of the most consolidated blockchain games.
In the movie Interstellar, every 1 hour is equivalent to 7 years on another planet. It's the same in the blockchain world, things happen so fast. So many projects are born and die in such a short space of time that those that survive at least a few years can be considered solid projects. And Splinterlands could be considered a project with a life span of over 100 years, if we were to bring it into the real world.
I arrived late at Splinterlands, in mid-2021. When the NFT gaming boom was reaching its peak. At the time I was looking for a game that wasn't so targeted and didn't have a high financial barrier, like Axie Infinity.
So, looking at some Youtuber influencers, I ended up finding Splinterlands. With just $10 you could start playing and win. I liked the game so much that I ended up investing a bit more and buying some cards, which helped me win a lot of games at the time.
Almost all play-to-earn games at the time were quite lucrative if you started at the beginning. I remember that with the rewards I earned in Splinterlands, which weren't a lot, I was able to invest in another NFT game, BombCrypto, which made me a lot of money at the time.
But, like all easy money, it's easy to lose. In just 4 or 5 months BombCrypto was no longer profitable and most of the money I made on that game I lost on various scans. To this day I regret not having invested more in Splinterlands at the time, with the money I lost.
But the main message I'm leaving with this story is that many games have died in a short space of time, while Splinterlands lives on. Splinterlands has always had a solid economy with its feet on the ground. Where the player is unlikely to play to earn a lot of rewards, that's why it manages to stay alive to this day.
Until recently Splinterlands had rewards chests, where it was possible with a bit of luck to win Legendary Gold Foil cards, which had a high value on the market, or to win an absurd amount of tokens. In my opinion, these chests were one of the best things about the game, as I played every day hoping to win these rewards, which were unlikely to happen.
Nowadays, a lot has changed and the luck factor no longer exists when it comes to Earn. Now you can win tokens through ranked battles, tournaments and Brawl. At the moment, I have a small collection of cards that I always try to update and together I rent some cards, so I can at least stay in the Gold league in the Mderno format.
Splinterlands is currently on the list of the top 5 games in 2024, competing with Axie Infinity, The Sandbox, Decentraland and God Unchaind. The last column shows the earnings of each of these top games. Splinterlands has average earnings of between $20 and $50, the lowest of the earnings, but none of the games say how much you need to invest to earn these figures.
After I started playing Splinterlands, it took me about a year to realize that it was also possible to earn money by posting on the hive. Thanks to the #hivebr community, who helped me a lot when I was lost here.
Currently, the rewards system has changed and Glints tokens are earned instead of bounties. With them, you can buy packs called DRAWS, which contain random cards of various rarities that will help you build up your card collection.
What I've learned from Splinterlands over the years is to be patient and consistent. Little by little, you can build up a good collection and accumulate assets in the game that will help you grow and achieve your goals more quickly. If you manage to have or develop these skills, you'll probably be able to achieve a good position in this crazy world of cryptocurrencies.

Splinterlands esta complentando 6 anos de existencia no mundo dos jogos NFTs. Isso é um grande marco na história de uns dos games mais consolidados da blockchain.
No filme Interestelar cada 1 hora equivalem a 7 anos, em um outro planeta. O mesmo acontece no mundo blockchain, as coisas acontecem tão rapido. Inúmeros projetos nascem e morrem em tão pouco tempo, que aqueles que sobrevivem ao menos algumas anos podem ser considerados projetos solidos. E Splinterlands pode ser considerado um projeto com mais de 100 anos de vida, caso trazessemos para o mundo real.
Eu cheguei tarde em Splinterlands, em meados de 2021. Quando a frebe do jogos NFTs estava chegando ao seu pico. Na epoca eu estava procurando um jogo que não fosse tão visado e que não tivesse um barreira financeira muito alta, como Axie Infinity.
Então, vendo algumas influencer do Youtuber acabei encontrando Splinterlands. Que com apenas $10 era possível começar a jogar e ganhar. Gostei tanto do jogo que acabei investindo mais um pouco e comprando algumas cartas, que me ajudaram a ganhar bastante partida na época.
Quase todos os jogos play to earn da epoca eram bastante lucrativo, caso entrasse no começo. Lembro que com as recomensas que ganhavam em Splinterlands, que não eram bastante, eu conseguir investir em um outro jogo NFT, BombCrypto, que me rendeu bastante dinheiro na epoca.
Mas, como todo dinheiro que vem fácil se perde fácil. Em apenas 4 ou 5 meses BombCrypto já não era mais rentável e a maior parte do dinheiro que ganhei nesse jogo eu perdi em vários Scans. Até hoje me arrempendo de não ter investido mais em Splinterlands na época, com esse dinheiro que perdi.
Mas, a principal mensagem que deixo com esse relato é que vários jogos morreram em pouco tempo, enquanto Splinterlands continua vivo. Splinterlands sempre teve uma economica sólida com os pés no chão. Onde o jogador dificilmente vai jogar para ganhar bastante recompensas, por isso que ele consegue se manter vivo até os dias atuais.
Até pouco tempo atrás Splinterlands existe os báus de recompensas, onde era possível com um pouco de sorte ganhar cartas Lendárias Gold Foil, que tinham alto valor no market, ou ganhar uma quantidade absurda de tokens. Esses baús na minha opinião era umas das melhores coisas do jogo, pois eu jogava todos os dias na expectativa de ganhar essas recompensas, que tinha baixa propabilidade de acontecer.
Atualmente, muita coisa mudou e agora o fator sorte já não existe mais, quando se tratando do Earn. Agora para ganhar tokens pode ser através das batalhas ranqueadas, dos torneios e do Brawl. Atualmente, tenho uma pequena coleção de cartas que sempre procuro atualizá-la e em conjunto alugo algumas cartas, dessa forma eu consigo me manter ao menos na liga Ouro, no formato Mderno.
Atualmente, Splinterlands esta na lista dos 5 top games em 2024 concorrendo com Axie Infinity, The Sandbox, Decentraland e God Unchaind. Na última coluna é possível observar os ganhos de cada uma desses top games apresentados. Splinterlands tem um ganho médio de $20 a $50, o mais baixo dos ganhos, porém nada é falo em nenhum dos games quanto é necessário investir para faturar esses números.
Depois que comecei a jogar Splinterlands eu demorei cerca de 1 ano para saber que era possível ganhar também postando na hive. Isso tudo agradeço a comunidade #hivebr, que me ajudaram bastante quando eu estava perdido por aqui.
Atualmente, o sistema de recompensas mudou e ao invés de báus são ganhos tokens Glints. Com eles é possível comprar packs chamados DRAWS, que possuem dentro deles cartas rewards aleatórias de várias raridades, que ajudarão o jogador a formar sua coleção de cartas.
O que aprendi com Splinterlands ao longo desse tempo é ter paciência e consistência. Ao poucos é possível construir uma boa coleção e acumular ativos no jogos que te ajudarão a crescer e atingir seus objetivos mais rapidamente. Caso você consegua ter ou desenvolver essas habilidades muito provavelmente consiguirá atingir uma boa posição nesse mundo louco, que são as criptomoedas.
