José went on our safaris a lot. He was a singer in a small rock band and was always present at our meetings to take photos to self-promote and publish content on social networks with his image. What was new that day on the road that runs through the forest was that he wanted to make an image of hands that surrounded him from behind without the rest of the body of the person doing it being seen, to give the feeling of a spell or possession due to the remoteness of the place. So we asked a friend to lend us her hands to accomplish the task. José did not move from his place in the two photos necessary for the final montage: One photo alone and another with the other hands in a gesture of possession. It was easy then in Photoshop to eliminate the visible parts of our mutual friend.
José iba mucho a nuestros safaris. Era cantante de un pequeño grupo de rock y no faltaba en nuestros encuentros para hacerse fotos para promocionar su banda y publicar contenido en redes sociales con su imagen. Lo que tuvo de novedoso aquél día en la carretera que atraviesa el bosque, era que quería lograr una imagen de manos que lo rodearan desde la espalda sin que se viera el resto del cuerpo de la persona que lo hacía, para dar la sensación de embrujo o de posesión por lo recóndito del lugar. Así que le pedimos a una amiga que nos prestara sus manos para lograr la tarea. José no se movió de lugar en las dos fotos necesarias para el montaje final. Una foto solo y otra con las manos en ademán de posesión. Fue sencillo luego en Photoshop eliminar las partes visibles de nuestra amiga.

Aunque entiendo perfectamente el significado de la primera fotografía, al principio cuando la vi pensé que también transmite el apoyo que te puede brindar una persona que ya no está con uno, pero de cualquier manera en que la fotografía tenga su concepto me parece un excelente trabajo. ¡Saludos!
