About the International Design Day, I want to share with you what has been my graduation ceremony of a course that I was taking for three months of graphic design, every day of the week for three academic hours I connected via zoom with an instructor and a group of 70 people to learn at an intermediate level how to use some tools to design.

A propósito del día Internacional del Diseño, quiero compartir con ustedes lo que ha sido mi ceremonia de graduación de un curso que estuve llevando por tres meses de diseño grafico, todos los días de la semana durante tres horas académicas me conecte vía zoom con un instructor y un grupo de 70 personas para aprender a un nivel intermedio como usar algunas herramientas para diseñar.
It was a formidable experience, finishing a period of study leaves a lot of satisfaction because during the process there are many sacrifices that are made, to begin with I did not think it was possible that I could start it, the schedule was in the morning, but thanks to a miracle it was changed to the evening, that way I could work, fulfill other duties and study.
Fue una experiencia formidable, terminar un periodo de estudio deja mucha satisfacción porque durante el proceso hay muchos sacrificios que se hacen, para empezar no creí posible que pudiera iniciarlo, el horario era de mañana, pero gracias a un milagro fue cambiado para la noche, de esa manera podría trabajar, cumplir con otros deberes y estudiar.
Being chosen to be a scholarship recipient represented a great commitment for me, I gave my best, no matter how tired I was, my desire was to give back what I received in knowledge, I also had to do community service for 40 hours in return for my scholarship, that gave me additional joy, serving others is never a waste of time.
The fact of losing my computer at the end of the course was a hard blow but it was enough to be able to complete all the work, I see it as a blessing that it was damaged at the end and not in the middle of the course, I do not know how I would have faced that situation, I am sure it would have resulted to continue, but I am pleased to be able to complete everything, and although I publish from the cell phone for now, and little can design, I am very happy.
Ser elegido para ser becado representaba para mi un gran compromiso, di lo máximo de lo mejor de mi, no importa cuan cansado estuviera, mi deseo era retribuir lo que recibía de conocimiento, además debía prestar servicio comunitario por 40 horas en forma de retribución por mi beca, eso me brindo gozo adicional, servir a otros jamás es un desperdicio de tiempo.
El hecho de perder mi computadora al final del curso fue un duro golpe pero alcanzo para poder cumplir con todos los trabajos, lo veo como una bendición que se dañara al final y no a la mitad del curso, no se como hubiera enfrentado esa situación, seguro hubiera resulto para continuar, pero me siento complacido de poder cumplir con todo, y aunque publico desde el celular por ahora, y poco puede diseñar, estoy muy feliz.

I got accustomed to use a lot of design programs, I need them to remove the background of an image, or vectorize, but despite that challenge the feeling of happiness remains, achieve any goal that we propose gives us much satisfaction, even more if you do not know if you will be able to finish.
Getting used to study again was not so difficult, I studied my engineering after work every day from 5 pm to 11 pm and Saturdays from 7 am to 5 pm, so I know very well what it is to study and work, not sleep and make sacrifices to meet the work and tasks, the truth is that this course is not the least like what I have experienced before to study, I could say that it was easy.
Me acostumbre a usar mucho los programas de diseño, me hacen falta para quitar el fondo a una imagen, o vectorizar, pero pese a ese desafío la sensación de felicidad permanece, lograr cualquier meta que nos propongamos brinda mucha satisfacción, mas aun si no sabes si serás capaz de culminar.
Acostumbrar a estudiar de nuevo no fue tan difícil, mi ingeniería la curse luego del trabajo todos los días de 5 pm a 11 pm y los sábados desde las 7 am hasta las 5 pm, así que se muy bien lo que es estudiar y trabajar, no dormir y hacer sacrificios para cumplir con los trabajos y tareas, la verdad que este curso ni se asemeja en lo mas mínimo a lo que he vivido antes para estudiar, podría decir que fue algo fácil.
I think I'm far from calling myself a graphic designer, my respects to the professionals of this career who for a long time studied all related science so that their criteria and skills as a designer were forged, I dare to say that I am a design enthusiast for now, maybe in the future I dare to call myself a designer because I intend to continue training.
I would have loved to be at the graduation in person, but traveling out of the country for now is not a possibility, but the ceremony via zoom although it was simple was emotional and honors those who with effort completed the process.
Creo que estoy muy lejos de llamarme diseñador grafico, mis respetos para los profesionales de esta carrera que durante mucho tiempo estudiaron toda ciencia relacionada para que su criterio y destreza como diseñador se forjara, me atrevo a decir que soy un entusiasta del diseño por ahora, puede que en el futuro me atreva a llamarme diseñador porque pretendo seguir capacitándome.
Me hubiera encantado estar en la graduación de forma presencial, pero viajar fuera del pais por ahora no es una posibilidad, pero la ceremonia vía zoom aunque fue sencilla fue emotiva y hace honor a quienes con esfuerzo finalizaron el proceso.
By zoom there were more than 400 people connected and the person in charge of protocol was mentioning 1 by 1 the graduates of the different courses, fortunately my group was the first and in alphabetical order I didn't have to wait long. On the screen they showed a kind of certificate with a photo of the graduate.
Por zoom fueron mas de 400 personas conectadas y el encargado de protocolo fue mencionando 1 a 1 a los graduandos de los distintos cursos, por fortuna mi grupo fue el primero y por orden alfabético no tuve que esperar mucho. En pantalla muestran una especie de certificado con una foto del graduando.
My group initially had 70 participants and only 27 were able to finish, between personal difficulties and not being able to complete the assignments and tasks, many were left by the wayside, it is very common for this to happen, you don't stop feeling nostalgic for those who didn't make it, but it is compensated with the happiness of having achieved the goal.

Mi grupo en un principio tuvo 70 participantes y solo pudieron finalizar 27, entre las dificultades personales y el no poder completar las asignaciones y tareas, muchos se fueron quedando en el camino, es muy común que esto ocurra no dejas de sentir nostalgia por quienes no lo lograron, pero se compensa con la felicidad de haber alcanzado el objetivo.

Congratulations for completing your graduation. You balance your study and work nicely. You are a positive thinker. You loss your computer at the end of the course. You think it is a blessing that it is not damaged in the middle. I like your positivity. I hope one day you will reach in your goal.
