I hope you are doing well 😊 I'm back to the routine 💪🏻 and at the same time taking advantage of resting this weekend because I have a busy week ahead😅. But well, that's the least of it, in this opportunity I want to share with you briefly what was the day of the Plastic Artist in Venezuela 🇻🇪 which is celebrated every May 10 in honor of the birth of the renowned Venezuelan plastic artist Armando Reverón.
Plastic artists, like musicians, have their own way of celebrating their day, and what better way than the way they know how to do it? By exhibiting their paintings and their magic to the public that admires them and is amazed by their colors. That is why different institutions that have the dedication to support the national and regional art, as my university UCLA in these promoted through the direction of culture activities in honor of these artists, which was the group exhibition at the gallery of arts Rafael Monasterio of the University.
In addition it was also a very special day for me because my dad is one of these artists who has a career in the region of Lara state in Barquisimeto and in my home state of Yaracuy in several areas such as San Felipe, Yaritagua, Urachiche etc.. And of course in this exhibition my dad was selected to exhibit along with 58 other artists on this very important day for them 👏🏻 who also told me that he felt very happy that he felt it as a reunion between artists after several years because of the pandemic 😌🎨. On the same day we were told that each of the works goes through an evaluation and approval committee to be able to enter this exhibition, so it gave us to understand how rigorous and the effort that each artist must have to participate.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the direction of culture of the UCLA and part of the evaluation committee of the gallery of Rafael Monasterio, who of these is one of the most prominent artists in the state of Lara with a fairly long career in the region and country, is known as the painter of the turbid river (emblematic river of the region) and is also doctor honoris causa of the UCLA a few years ago. On the other hand I can also say that I have the opportunity to know him beyond his professional side thanks to my dad who are colleagues and very good friends.
The hall was full of very good works, colorful paintings, even black and white works, who transmitted the essence of each artist according to your context, because it is something particular to the visual arts, not all works transmit the same thing and not all of them will be easy to match. Personally I connect faster with drawing which is my forte, I'm terrible with color 🤣 however this visit and accompanying my dad was also my girlfriend, my mom, my nephew who is starting in this world of fine arts also 👏🏻❤️
After that we went to celebrate together in a very nice and comfortable restaurant, I really recommend it for those who are here in Barquisimeto, and this is not advertising 🤣 but the attention, the food and the price is very good 😌 it is called Vivís and it is located in carrera 19 with calle 9, when you go tell me how it is and tell me about it 🤣.
And well my dear Hivers ❤️ this was another one of my adventures 😅 why didn't you know this fact about me that I had roots in this area and by the way very direct by my dad ? 😅🤣 I really can't be the proudest son for having him, I love what he does and am inspired by the way he creates things and how he passes on his art to others and motivates them 👏🏻. I know how to draw 😅 a little bit, but I stopped years ago and more when I started studying psychology, I have plans to take it up again and when I do, they will be the first ones to know it ❤️

Espero se encuentren muy bien 😊 yo regresando nuevamente a la rutina 💪🏻 y a la vez aprovechando de descansar este fin de semana porque me espera una semana ajetreada😅. Pero bueno, eso es lo de menos, en esta oportunidad quiero compartirles brevemente lo que fue el día del Artista Plástico en Venezuela 🇻🇪 que se celebra cada 10 de Mayo en honor al natalicio artista plástico Venezolano reconocido Armando Reverón.
Los artistas plásticos como los músicos, tienen su manera de celebrar su día, y qué mejor manera de la forma que lo saben hacer ? Exponiendo sus pinturas y su magia ante el público que los admira y se queda maravillado con sus colores. Es por eso que distintas instituciones que tienen la dedicación de apoyar el arte nacional y regional, como mi universidad UCLA en estos promocionan a través de la dirección de cultura actividades en honor a estos cultores, que fue la exposición Colectiva en la galería de artes Rafael Monasterio de la Universidad
Además también era un día muy especial para mí ya que mi papá es uno de estos Artistas Plásticos que tiene una trayectoria en la región del estado Lara en Barquisimeto y en mi estado natal Yaracuy en varias zonas como San Felipe, Yaritagua, Urachiche etc.. y por supuesto que en esta exposición mi papá quedó seleccionado para exponer junto a otros 58 artistas en este día muy importante para ellos 👏🏻 quien además me expresó que sentía muy feliz que lo sintió como un reencuentro entre artistas después de varios años por la pandemia 😌🎨. En el mismo día se nos contó que cada una de las obras pasa por un comité de evaluación y aprobación para poder entrar a esta exposición, así que nos dió a entender lo riguroso y el esfuerzo que deben de tener cada artista para participar.
La exposición fue inaugurada por la dirección de cultura de la UCLA y parte del comité de evaluación de la galería del Rafael Monasterio, quien de estos se encuentra uno de los artistas más destacados dentro del estado Lara con una trayectoria bastante larga en la región y país, se le conoce como el pintor del río turbio (río emblemático de la región) y además es doctor honoris causa de la UCLA hace algunos años. Por otro lado también puedo decir que tengo la oportunidad de conocerlo más allá de su parte profesional gracias a mi papá que son colegas y muy buenos amigos.
El salón estuvo repletos de obras muy buena, de coloridos cuadros, hasta de obras en blanco y negro, quienes te trasmitía la esencia de cada artista de acuerdo a como tú contexto así te lo dijera, porque es algo particular de las artes plásticas, de que no todo las obras te transmiten lo mismo y no con todas vas a tener la facilidad de compaginar. En lo personal me conecto más rápido con el dibujo que es mi fuerte, soy terrible con el color 🤣 sin embargo está visita y acompañamiento a mi papá también estuvo mi novia, mi mamá, mi sobrino quien está empezando en este mundillo de las artes plásticas también 👏🏻❤️
Después de eso nos fuimos a celebrar juntos en un restaurante bien bonito y cómodo, que de verdad lo recomiendo para los que son aquí de Barquisimeto, y esto no es publicidad 🤣 pero es que de verdad la atención, la comida y el precio es muy bueno 😌 se llama Vivís y está ubicado en la carrera 19 con calle 9, cuando vayan me dicen que tal y me cuentan 🤣
Y bueno mis queridos Hivers ❤️ está fue otra mis aventuras 😅 a qué no sabían este dato sobre mi que tenía raíces en esta área y de paso muy directas por mi papá ? 😅🤣 De verdad no puedo ser el hijo más orgulloso por tenerlo a él, me encanta lo que hace y me inspira la forma en que crea las cosas y cómo transmite su arte a los demás y los motiva 👏🏻. Yo sé dibujar 😅 un poco, pero lo deje hace años y más cuando me puse a estudiar psicología, tengo planes de retomarlo y cuando lo haga, serán los primeros saberlo ❤️
