Welcome to the weekend, and welcome to Caturday, my favorite day of the week... because it's an opportunity to share cat photos!

Birdwatching...

We have had a fairly quiet week around here, with the Hoomans doing something they call "decompressing" after their out-of-town trip, last weekend. Seemed like they spent a lot of time moving slowly compared to normal life.

I think that's a good thing, because it meant there was more "cat time," and I like that very much!

The sunny spots are always moving!

Of course, now the Mom-Hooman is all fluttery again, because she's getting ready to leave town again on Tuesday to spend the rest of the week at some "retreat" in Idaho.

She's teaching a workshop there and is part of the retreat organization, so I will be at home alone with the Dad-Hooman for almost an entire week!

How I let the Dad-Hooman know it's time for the Caturday blog!

Last night, the Hoomans suddenly went outside — in the dark — to look up at the skies!

Who has ever heard of such a thing?

The Dad-Hooman said something about "solar storms" and "seeing the Northern Lights," and they were all excited when they came back inside.

I'm not sure it was really anything... but it gave me a chance to nap in peace!

Today, it was nice to see our Hive token moving distinctly higher! Not holding my breath, though... these sudden upspikes seldom seem to last longer than a few days. But we'll see!

Some good news would definitely be welcome.

Smudge says she's happy that we are moving towards summer... and I am happily in agreement with her.

The Powers That Be say that we are going to have a cold and gray summer this year... which is not exactly happy making.

I'll take my sunny spots any way I can get them... including on the stairs!

I know it worries the Hoomans because they depend a lot on growing food in their vegetable garden... and a poor crop would make them sad.

Hopefully, things will still turn out OK for them!

In the Mom-Hooman's office...

Uh-oh... the Hoomans are on the move again, heading outside to look at the night sky.

Whatever makes them happy, I guess... but I hope these shenanigans are over, soon!
