The Last Hurrah, A Tower, and the "Triplets" Building

in Actifit12 days ago

This could be our last hurrah.

We can already feel it, the desert heat. Although the breeze is still considerably cooler, we know that summer is almost already here.

So before it gets really scorching hot, I decided to visit the Al Nahyan Park to check it out. I honestly didn't know about this park until we went for evening walk at Al Mamoura. The end of our walk that time before we turned around was very close to this park.

Then last week, I missed a turn as I was driving and ended up at this road. I was running late, so I wasn't able to stop so today, I bribed the Little Man to come with me to check it out.

It's worth coming up here.

The highlight of the park, for Little Man, was a 3-story tower with 2 tube slides. Before I knew it, he was able to convince me to come up with him.

I was amazed by his agility, given how fast and effortless he could climb up the ropes and platforms. I struggled from the very first board. 🥴

Of course, my biggest problem was climbing down. Lol.

The "triplets" building.

We could easily see the nearby Al Reem Island from up the tower.

"Mommy, look! The triplets buildings!" Little Man said while pointing to the iconic Arc Towers.

We left after some time since I still needed to cook lunch, and while the Little Man was still having a great time, I promised him we would come back after lunch together with his big brother and sister.
