A wake up call.

One day I also want a little plot that looks out to the mountains and the sea.

We will have a little dam on the property with geese and swans.

So, what is your dream?
I have had many dreams in my life, some that came true and others that I stashed in the "One Day" file" in my brain. When I see some views like this in the post, it triggers my memory banks to search for the "One Day" file.
Riches mean nothing to me, and as long as I have a house, a car and food, then I am happy. But there's always the, want more, factor in our human lives. Never satisfied, as the more that we get, the more we want, and I learned long ago that this is folly. A peaceful and stressless life is to be desired, but there is very little of this available to us these days.

This short song served as a wake-up call to me that I still want something.

Another rooster with his wife was looking to see if I understood the message.

A family was cleaning mites off in a dust pool.

There you can see the dust.

This guy was on his own beat.

And then, there was this. The sunbird looked me straight in the eye.

And then he sang a song called, Sweet dreams are made of this.

Oh yeah, my soul longs for rest, and what better to find a piece of land, and to build a small, two bedroom A frame house. One bedroom up in the roof with a glass sliding door and a balcony to sit and watch the views. Some ponds at the front with water features and a vegetable garden at the back of the house. Completely solarized and off the grid, with a bore hole for water. And of course, many plants, flowers and bushes to draw birds like the sunbird. This is the one dream that I mean to accomplish now in my golden years, before the winter appears in my life.

So, I ask again, what is your dream?
What do you long for in life and a short comment will do.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.
