Antier a media mañana como siempre, regreso del Dpto de Impresión con deseos de aniquilar a la impresora, ya que después de haberme hecho perder una cantidad apreciable de hojas blancas, se quedó atascada definitivamente, y entonces entre contrariada y ensimismada en mis pensamientos regreso a la oficina planeando un plan de contingencia, el cual podía o no ser un plan, ni recuerdo.
Doblo la esquina del pasillo y allí está un compañero de trabajo en unas maniobras bastantes llamativas y curiosas, cuando me acerco más me percato que está tratando de atrapar algo que revolotea. Este señor, al cual conozco hace más de 18 años suele ser un tipo bastante arisco y rebelde, pero en cuestiones de animales es terriblemente sensible, y ahí en ese punto coincidimos los dos.
Resulta que un zorzal había quedado atrapado en un local de trabajo que actualmente está en mantenimiento, y como era lunes supusimos que estuvo allí todo el fin de semana, así es que él pidió la llave de este lugar y abrió para sacarlo con urgencia. Pero como es normal el animalito tenía miedo, un terrible miedo y tal vez si le hubiésemos explicado mejor quien sabe...jaja.

I turn the corner of the hallway and there is a co-worker in a rather striking and curious maneuvers, when I get closer I realize that he is trying to catch something that flutters. This gentleman, whom I have known for more than 18 years, is usually a rather surly and rebellious guy, but when it comes to animals he is terribly sensitive, and on that point we both agree.
It turns out that a thrush had been trapped in a work place that is currently under maintenance, and since it was Monday we assumed that it had been there all weekend, so he asked for the key to this place and opened the door to get it out urgently. But as usual the little animal was afraid, a terrible fear and maybe if we had explained him better who knows...haha.

El hecho fue que logramos sacarlo de la habitación, pero siguió corriendo y tratando de volar entre los pasillos, pero como evidentemente estaba débil no le fue fácil, eso nos daba más posibilidades. Hubo un momento en que casi lo atrapo dentro de una de las oficinas, pero debo confesar que me intimidó, el pico me resultó largo y amenazante junto con su actitud retadora, definitivamente me reí de mí misma, a esta altura temerle a un pajarito. Pero bueno, !si hay quien le teme a una lagartija!
Al tercer local sí pudimos atraparlo, chillo estrindentemente, aleluya, le quedaban fuerzas!
Una vez afuera, lo revisamos ala por ala y pata por pata, ya estábamos discutiendo quién se lo llevaba a casa por cualquier herida o síntomas que le viéramos, o sea, el equipo estaba evaluando los daños ¡en serio! me resultaba muy satisfactorio hacerlo, porque sabía que mi compañero tenía gatos y yo una chihuahua bastante gruñona pero más inofensiva, o sea, eso creo yo, que no quisiera atacar al pájaro, aunque después recordé que no pocas veces la sorprendo cazando o asustando a los gorriones que le roban su comida.

At the third place we were able to catch him, he squeaked loudly, hallelujah, he still had some strength left!
Once outside, we checked it wing by wing and leg by leg, we were already discussing who would take it home for any injury or symptoms we saw, that is, the team was assessing the damage, really, I found it very satisfying to do so, because I knew that my partner had cats and I was a rather grumpy but harmless Chihuahua, that is, I think so, I did not want to attack the bird, although later I remembered that not a few times I was caught hunting or scaring the sparrows that stole its food.

Conclusiones, el zorzal en perfectas condiciones, nada que no pudiera arreglarse después de alimentarse un rato. Lo liberamos en el frente, donde había bastantes árboles y césped, pero enseguida nos llamó la atención algo, otro zorzal vino a reconocerlo de inmediato ¿Habrá venido a brindarle ayuda? ¿Las aves suelen ser tan solidarias y perspicaces? No sé, quiero imaginar que lo son.

Estos pajaritos entran a mi centro de trabajo por cualquier lugar buscando comida, insectos que hay dentro de los grandes locales y escabulléndose por algunos falsos techos que están por reponer, así a veces quedan atrapados entre las ventanas de cristal y el mundo exterior, pueden incluso morir del calor tan grande que allí hay, es una situación bastante dolorosa para todos, y hay que ayudarlos a sobrevivir, al menos yo siempre lo haré.

That's very kind of you rescuing pepe. I hope he'll recover soon. It's unfortunate that these days temperature aren't so friendly to feather friends and even cats/dogs. It gets extremely hot over where I am from and has affected my pets too.

Es una persona muy razonable, pero no muy sociable,cualquiera sin conocerlo puede llevarse una pésima opinión de él.

Pobre animalito, sabrá desde cuando estaba atrapado, que bueno que aún quedan personas con buenos sentimientos hacia los animales. Una hermosa ave la rescatada.
Prefiero pensar que fueron solo dos días, por calor del local digo,debemos tener mucho cuidado por estos días, hay muchos de ellos por allí..
