Other Niche Communities Curation Report #1607

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1607th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Not Again!!

During our childhood, when we used to play cricket on the grounds, there used to be some irritating guy who used to pass by our areas and demand to do batting a little bit. These kinds of interruptions from a stranger used to bug us a lot. Now spending a chunk of our lives, we came to understand why they used to go crazy on seeing us playing. I am not the guy who would do the dame, like batting or playing any sports as they didn’t fascinate me much since childhood, but I do have other desires to fulfill.

Everything that renews my energies is a gain

During the course of my life I have learned valuable lessons, I still have a lot to learn but one thing I have treasured is that I must live at my own pace and take all the time I need to rest. I remember that some years ago I had a lot of energy and I didn't mind having work and study marathons because at the end of the day I would have a pleasant sleep that would give me the necessary strength for the next day's work.

This schedule wore me out to the point that I could no longer sleep. Incredibly, when I am very tired I cannot sleep and this is fatal. Working days represent a real odyssey when I have not had a good night's sleep. Considering that even though I had not rested well I still had to go to work, the energy I was spending that day was triple the normal amount because I was working too hard.

First time tried something special a Île Flottantes (floating island ) femous French dessert.

Hello everyone, greetings to all the food lovers out there. Recently, the #foodiesbeehive community announced a contest for typical sweets and desserts from other countries. I found it to be quite a challenge, as I tried different sweets and desserts. I have a wide circle of friends here in Norway, and we come from many different countries.

Seasoned funches [ENG-ESP]

Greetings dear friends who love vegan food. Today I share with you a simple recipe that is made with precooked corn flour, boil it, add salt and just mix and mix until the mixture thickens. Let it cool and we will have a delicious cake, this is how funche or polenta is made. However, this time I wanted to do something different, I put several ingredients to obtain a seasoned funche, the first one I have done this way.

Hive Music Festival Week 81 Round 3 | Meds - Placebo (Cover)https://peakd.com/hive-120026/@hanselmusic/irtaittw

I've been wanting to sing for this festival for a long time, and that's why I decided to do it today. Placebo for me is one of the bands I enjoy listening to most, especially in the alternative music scene. They recently performed at one of the most important festivals in my city, but unfortunately I couldn't go due to travel reasons. But I'm sure their performance was very cool.

On Getting Called Up to Where There Is No Bridge, after Finding two "Waldsteins" and a Happy Wanderer (Fantasy)

There is nothing "ordinary" about the beauty of spring ... it is such a blessing... and yet, the beauty on the level that everyone can reach with minimal effort is just the beginning ... which reminded me of Beethoven's Opus 53 piano sonata ... the "Waldstein" is in "ordinary" C major, but then again, so is the second movement of Opus 111, and both of them have in common that Beethoven starts in an "ordinary" place as a launchpad.

Alfred Brendel is the first concert pianist I ever went to see live, and he will forever have that special place in my heart ... the one thing he alerted me to, in Beethoven, is that Beethoven doubles down A LOT. The first movement of the "Waldstein" is a stunner for its day, marching and running squarely along in C only to end up in E for a gracious second subject ... a light that can be a surprise as a modulation even in 2024 ... and THEN making an "Introduction" instead of a second movement that would have made a perfectly beautiful adagio, but instead bringing us to an Allegretto second movement that is absolutely out of this world.

The Mother: Mixed Feelings and Action | Film Review [En-Es]

There is nothing more beautiful, in my opinion than motherhood. A state that leads you to positive change and makes you want to do many good things in life, because of that new responsibility you acquire, when you bring a life into the world. However, not all motherhoods are desired and even less, easy, especially when your life, is not that of an ordinary person, but that of someone immersed in a somewhat murky and complicated world in many aspects.

Surfing again on Netflix, I found and had marked on my list, a movie from 2023, which at first glance, by its synopsis or summary, seemed appealing and interesting.

It is The Mother, starring the diva Jennifer Lopez, who in my opinion, played a great role, as that mother of a complicated environment, who is forced to defend her daughter with everything she knows and that immersed her in that dark world of which she never wanted to splash her little girl.

(ESP-ENG) ¡Llego el Día de las Madres!🌷 Paso a paso de una Caja con chocolates y flores eternas❤️

🙋‍♀️Hello everyone! I hope you are all well and wish you all good health and good times✨❤️.
Mother's Day is approaching, and it is reason enough to honor these great women, being celebrated in Venezuela on the second Sunday of May. And for this I bring an economical idea and with few materials to not let this day pass without some detail, without more to make reference to...

Greetings, dear friends of the community, how are you today? I am quite well and I hope you are too. For a couple of weeks I had been wanting to go to a museum near where I live, but for some reason I was not encouraged to go, until thanks to social networks I discovered that they would make the presentation of some works of an artist and I thought it would be the perfect excuse to motivate me to attend. I took my camera to capture the moment and the works of art and I was ready to enjoy. Join me for a day full of art.
