Today I needed to travel to Sunway Velocity to pass some items to a friend, so I have lunch at a Chinese restaurant called Xin Ji Signature.

after looking at the menu, I decided to try their Hainanese white chicken rice ball that cost RM16.10 after including the 16% service tax.

In Malaysia, Hainanese chicken rice normally is a dish of poached chicken and seasoned rice, served with chilli sauce and usually with cucumber garnishes. However, in Malacca and Muar areas, the rice is served in balls rather than bowls; this dish is known as Chicken rice balls. Steamed rice is shaped into golf ball-sized orbs and served alongside the chopped chicken.

So It is rare to see restaurants serve outside Malacca and Muar area. I often wonder what is so great about it and ordered one to try.

To be honest, after trying it, I will just order the normal oil rice since the only different is just the rice in ball shape.

Tengok macam sikit, ada kenyang?

Tak kenyang.

I think this portion of rice is quite small, right?
