There was a time when gaming was just for fun but not anymore because now gaming has gone to the next level. People are into gaming because they can earn real money and that is possible through blockchain gaming. This is also called play-to-earn gaming and these hashtags trend on platforms like Twitter. Splinterland is a very well-known name in the gaming segment. The game has completed its six years and this is a fantastic achievement I would say and I hope that the game will be completed many more years. This is because the community is supportive and they keep on building for the community. Ups and downs are part of everyone's lives so projects cannot be left alone and they also have to go through this cycle. This time when there are some issues in the game I'm sure the team will be able to figure out the way out to overcome and things will be back to normal soon.
Coming back to the celebration of six years I must mention that the game has come such a long way and players who are part of the game must be very happy. I am very happy because I have completed 4 years with this game and my journey started in 2020. It was the time when there was no lockdown when I started but within a few weeks, it was the lockdown time for me so I was able to give more time to the game. I learned a lot about this game during that time and I'm glad that I joined this game at the right time.
My Journey & Achievements
- I have already mentioned that I have completed four years with this game which I think is a fantastic achievement. I'm not from a gaming background and to be honest, I had no idea how this gaming works but still I did pretty well because I spent some time learning. It's important to invest time to learn about the project and this helps.
- In the beginning I had no plan to invest in the game but just after a couple of months my plan changed and I invested a pretty good amount in the game through which I was able to build a nice card collection.
- I own almost every segment of cards in my account and even I have some plots that are a good addition to the game. I also have gold foil cards and most of the cards I have are enough to manage my gameplay I'm not dependent on the rental market but surely that is a good option to consider if someone is not having enough good cards.
- How a game can open a door of opportunity is witnessed through the splinter lands and I can say that it was the right decision for me to join this game at the right time.
- I was the witness when SPS was launched and its value was very good but I believed in the game and I did not book profit else I would have had way more than what I have as of now. Happens in the market and sometimes we don't know how things will be in future so we expect something good but though decisions don't go well. A similar situation happened with me in the case of SPS but its fine because it is part of the market and things happen like this.
- For newbies I'll suggest to cheque out the rental market if in case you are not able to buy more cards. Trust me you will like it because you are going to get almost every card at a reasonable price which I think should be explored and it will help you a lot in the game.
I am here in this game for the long term and I will continue the same strategy in the future as well. I have not withdrawn any amount from the game and I hope that in the future things will be more valuable so still I am trying to build. Currently, my focus is more on the sps side but maybe in the future, I'll change my strategy because I still believe that SPS will be an available token in the game. After all, it is a governance token. Because it is a governance token there are some additional benefits provided to the holders and maybe in the future, we will get many more benefits for holding this governance token in a game account.
