It's been nearly three weeks since this game was released and almost the same amount of time since my boyfriend bought Taxi Life: A City Driving Simulator and we started playing it because we had it on our wishlist for a long while and made sure to add it in our cart just seconds away from its release.

Sadly, for many people out there it turned as a big disappointment talking about plenty of glitches and AI fails, but while a lot of gamers asked for their money back, we decided to keep playing it and even came up with a unique video for YouTube on the time we uploaded it, which includes a full list with all the monuments that are currently available in game.

In case you don't know, Taxi Life: A City Driving Simulator is based on the map of Barcelona, everything being created on a 1:1 scale and a lot of attention to detail, which is definitely impressive knowing very well how various this city is especially when it comes to buildings and architecture in general.

But since we are speaking about a pretty large map, this one wasn't fully created but only like a third so far. Most likely the game will have some updates sooner or later with this purpose or force the players to buy DLCs to complete their map which I hope is not the case.

However, there are a bit over 60 monuments right now on the map, and we did invest some good hours exploring all of them and making a comparison with the real images, so in case you are looking for some relaxing moments, a cool comparison and nice music in the background, we recommend you this video from the bottom of our hearts. We worked a lot on it, and I'm sure this one is pretty satisfying for anyone watching it, whether she/he plays games or not.

Arc de Triomf is, perhaps, the one that will be recognised the easiest by anyone watching this, since it's hard not to remember a construction like this in case you visited Barcelona in real life as we did.

Too bad Sagrada Familia is not in the game already, even though it can be seen from the distance. But I can't wait for this one to be added to the map.

Palace of Catalan Music is also available. We have visited this one in real life already and had a blast seeing it with our own eyes. No doubt it was perfectly reproduced in the game also.

Maritime Museum of Barcelona was also added, which we missed during our trip to Barcelona but which made us want to visit it on our next journey in Spain.

These are just 3 examples of monuments comparisons we did out of a total of 62, so if you are curious to see what else is available on the map, consider watching the video for a full experience and let us know which of these you've seen in real life too!

I really like simulators! What I did miss was the camera from the driver but the rest looks spectacular and very real. I didn't know about this simulator. By the way, the goat simulator is on sale on Steam xD thanks for share!

It didn't make much sense to use the inside camera in this video since the monuments could be easier noticed from the outside.

There are actually a lot of sales on steam. Goat Simulator was released more than 10 years ago when I also played it first time and it doesn't stir much curiosity on my end in 2024 haha. Thanks for pointing it out tho.

Sure, it's a better way to appreciate the city from the outside, I understand.

Yes, I know the delacabra is old, but it's funny hahaha. I DON'T play it, but he looks funny.

Is this available in Philippines? hehe just asking.

Should be worldwide.

oh, really? That's amazing! 🤩
