Warmest greetings everyone. Hope you all are doing well. It's a new week and I wish you have an amazing one.
I was going through my feed and @jurich60's post popped up. Seeing that it was a challenge post about sunrises and sunsets in this wonderful community, it piqued my interest to join.
Taking random pictures of things that capture my interest has become a habit. More of these photos are about nature because in them I find the spark and ideas to create my contents. More so because I love nature and get quite attracted to everything about it.
The rising of the sun tells us that a new day has come. A day to hope for the better, to stay strong and not be discouraged by whatever challenges that come our way, to squash the tasks that the day brings. It also gives us the opportunity to love and be loved, to show little acts of kindness to people around us, to be better than we were the previous day and move one step ahead in the journey of accomplishing our goals.
Sunset depicts calmness, peace and tranquility. It ushers in the end of the day telling us that night is eminent and that we need to follow its course.
Since we have radiated with sunrise, there's need to allow the dim to take place and rest the body to get energized. It's a time of sober reflection, meditation, and planning for the next day.
Having said these, let me show you the beautiful images I captured.
Sunrise Images
May 4th around 9:36am.
I was standing by the window when I took this photo. It was actually the cloud that caught my attention but after taking it, I saw a part of the sun in it. Maybe I should call it a half sun, hehehe.
I took these ones as I stepped outside my compound today, May 14th.
07:58am
.08:01am
08:02am
See how clear and bright all the photos are.
Sunset Images
This captivating photo was taken while I was coming back from a trip on February 18th, 2022 17:55pm.
I was seated at the front seat of the vehicle and that gave me the opportunity to get the perfect shot of the setting sun just at the middle of the road. I called it traveling with the sun.
Taken on March 24th by 17:47pm just standing outside my compound.
Looks like some smoky cloud was about enveloping the setting sun.
Taken at my church's premises on April 2nd by
16:42pm. I arrived for choir practice early and while waiting for others to come I decided to take a walk around and in the process took this photo.
May 5th around 18:35pm. Taken while on an evening walk.
This is another captivating shot I took. I can't really remember the date and time because I moved it out of the gallery to another file. Seems like the cloud was trying to overshadow the sun but it refused allowing it's rays to shine.
In summary, sunrise and sunset tell us that nothing is constant in life and that there's always a two sides to a coin. Avd of to be to be grateful for the privilege to witness them all and to live one day at a time.
Thank you for reading, hope to see you again.
