When a dandelion finishes flowering and turns to a seedhead, they appear almost like ghostly visage of what they once were. The structures revealed with the seeds contain some fantastic details that I am always drawn to. They can also be illuminated in ways that can change their look and add another element that draws the eye in.
The whites are really highlighted and add a sense of brightness against the deep darkness of the background. The sharpness of their features really help me get a higher level of focus, which enhances the overall level of detail.
