Hello anime fans. Today it's our turn to be a bit romantic as we'll be talking about what I consider to be the best anime in the romance genre that I've seen this past year 2023. We will move away completely from fantasy worlds, battles, monsters and adventures. This time we will focus more on knowing several of the best love stories that I have seen in my life and I would like to share them with you in this post.
As you already know, all the anime in this top I rank them from 1 to 10 and I order them starting with the lowest rated and ending with the highest rated of the whole list. Remember that it is only my opinion that you will read in this post, so surely you will not agree with one or another anime I mention, if you have already seen it. If that's your case, don't forget to tell me your opinion at the end of the post.

Hola fanáticos del anime. Hoy nos toca ser un poco románticos ya que hablaremos de los que considero que son los mejores animes del género de romance que he visto el pasado año 2023. Nos alejaremos por completo de los mundos fantásticos, las batallas, los monstruos y las aventuras. En esta ocasión nos centraremos más en conocer varias de las mejores historias de amor que he visto en mi vida y que me gustaría compartirlas con ustedes en este post.
Como ya saben, todos los animes de este top los clasifico del 1 al 10 y los ordeno empezando por el de menor clasificación y terminando con el de mayor calificación de toda la lista. Recuerden que es solo mi opinión la que leerán en este post, así que seguramente no estarás de acuerdo con uno que otro anime que mencione, si es que lo has visto ya. Si ese es tu caso, no olvides comentarme tu opinión al final del post.

Let's start with the second season of one of the most popular anime in the romance genre. The continuation of the story of the innocent young couple in love continues. This time they bring us many new experiences. The combination of comedy with romance is what makes this anime very special, especially for the fact that it almost never relies on "Fanservice" or double meaning jokes for this. An anime that I recommend watching to fans of this genre.
The newlywed couple of the beautiful Tsukasa and the genius Nasa continue their love story as a couple while living new experiences every day. The innocence of both of them, the kindness of Nasa and the determination of Tsukasa makes them live moments and situation very typical of a newlywed couple. However, the reaction and decision making of both of them, along with their feelings, will help them move forward.
While I said that it is one of my favorite romance anime, I honestly have to admit that this second season didn't impact me as much as the first one. Maybe it's because the story reached a plateau, from the first few episodes, and then it became a story of everyday moments in the life of a newlywed couple with no experience in a relationship. Still, the combination of comedy, expressions, scripts, new characters and funny moments make this series a very entertaining show.
Personally, I give it a rating of 8/10 as far as the romance and comedy genre is concerned.

Empecemos con la segunda temporada de uno de los animes más populares del género del romance. La continuación de la historia de la pareja de jóvenes inocentes y enamorados continúa. Esta vez nos traen muchas experiencias nuevas. La combinación de comedia con romance es lo que hace de este anime muy especial, sobre todo por el hecho de que no depende casi nunca del “Fanservice” o de chistes de doble sentido para esto. Un anime que recomiendo ver a los fanáticos de este género.
La pareja de recién casados de la hermosa Tsukasa y del genio Nasa continúan con su historia de amor en pareja mientras viven nuevas experiencias cada día. La inocencia de ambos, la amabilidad de Nasa y la determinación de Tsukasa hace que vivan momentos y situación muy típicas de una pareja de recién casados. Sin embargo, la reacción y la toma de decisiones de ambos, junto con sus sentimientos, los ayudará a seguir adelante.
Si bien dije que es uno de mis animes de romance favoritos, sinceramente tengo que admitir que esta segunda temporada no me impactó tanto como la primera. Tal vez y sea porque la historia llegó a un tope, desde los primeros capítulos, y luego pasó a ser una historia de momentos cotidianos de la vida de una pareja de recién casados sin experiencia en una relación. Igualmente, la combinación de comedia, expresiones, guiones, personajes nuevos y momentos divertidos hacen de esta serie una obra muy entretenida.
Personalmente, le doy una calificación de 8/10 en lo que respecta al género del romance y la comedia.

Let's continue with a romance anime that tells us a unique and simple, but perfect story. One of those anime that normally only stand out at the time when they are broadcasted, but then are forgotten over time, which should not be the case in this particular one as it is a work that deserves a more worthy praise. The story, the animation, the characters, their developments, everything is so beautiful and spectacular that I highly recommend watching it.
The story focuses on Ganta, a high school boy who suffers from insomnia, which complicates his life when studying and doing his chores. To solve it, he plans to go to an abandoned place of his school where it is quieter so he can rest in his free time. However, in that place he meets Isaki, a classmate who also suffers from insomnia, like him, and who always goes up there to sleep for a few hours. Their meeting and curious sleep problem will bring them together more than they think.
As I already told you, this anime has a plot that appears to be simple, but, at the same time, it is spectacular. A worthy example of the famous saying "don't judge a book by its cover". A love story between two young people who suffer from a disorder that makes them see the night in a different way than others, dreams and goals that are formed and achieved with dedication and hard work and a relationship that will lead them to live unique and incomparable experiences. All this and more is what this anime conveys to us, with animation that is simply amazing and characters that you will literally love. One of the best love stories I've seen this 2023.
Personally, I give it a 9/10 rating as far as the romance genre is concerned.

Sigamos con un anime de romance que nos cuente una historia única y simple, pero perfecta. De los animes que normalmente solo se destacan en el momento cuando son emitidos, pero luego son olvidados con el tiempo, lo cual no debería de ser el caso en este particular al ser una obra que merece de un elogio más digno. La historia, la animación, los personajes, sus desarrollos, todo es tan hermoso y espectacular que recomiendo a ojos cerrados verlo.
La historia se centra en Ganta, un chico de secundaria que sufre de insomnio, lo cual le complica la vida al momento de estudiar y hacer sus quehaceres. Para solucionarlo, piensa ir a un sitio abandonado de su escuela donde sea más tranquilo para poder descansar en los ratos libres. Sin embargo, en dicho lugar se encuentra con Isaki, una compañera de clase que también sufre de insomnio, al igual que él, y que siempre sube a ese sitio a dormir unas horas. Su encuentro y curioso problema de sueño los juntará más de lo que ellos creen.
Como ya les dije, este anime cuenta con una trama que aparenta ser sencilla, pero, a la vez, es espectacular. Un digno ejemplo del famoso dicho de “no juzgues un libro por su portada”. Una historia de amor entre ambos jóvenes que sufren de un trastorno que los hace ver la noche de una forma diferente que los demás, sueños y metas que se van formando y consiguiendo cumplir con dedicación y trabajo duro y una relación que los llevará a vivir experiencias únicas e incomparables. Todo esto y más es lo que nos transmite este anime, con una animación que es simplemente increíble y personajes que literalmente amarán. De las mejores historias de amor que he visto este 2023.
Personalmente, le doy una calificación de 9/10 en lo que respecta al género del romance.

Let's talk now about the second season of another one of the most popular anime of the romance genre, combined with comedy, which has had some merit and popularity last year when it was aired. The continuation of a story of love, revenge and a lot of drama is about to conclude. While not one of my favorites of the genre, I really liked this one in terms of character development, story and outcome. That way of showing us a love relationship somewhat peculiar to most is what captured my attention from the beginning.
The story of Masamune and his revenge/revenge against Adagaki Aki continues as he faces an unknown opponent who seeks to replace him and steal his beloved's heart. Secrets that are about to be revealed, new unique experiences in a couple that prove to be in love but in reality is more complicated and a confrontation that will have a somewhat bittersweet ending. All this and more is what we will find in this second season.
While the main plot grabbed me at once, what I love most about this anime is that it didn't end up disappointing me after the first season. With such an unexpected ending, this one starts with a strong atmosphere, but then it evolves, while the characters end up proving to be what they really are and love is born and grows in a place where there was only hate and revenge. A story that inspires us a lot and an animation that leaves no one indifferent.
Personally, I give it a rating of 9/10 as far as the romance and comedy genre is concerned.

Hablemos ahora de la segunda temporada de otro de los animes más populares del género de romance, combinado con la comedia, el cual ha tenido cierto mérito y popularidad el año pasado cuando fue emitido. La continuación de una historia de amor, venganza y mucho drama está por concluir. Si bien no es de mis favoritas del género, este me gustó mucho en cuanto a desarrollo de personajes, historia y desenlaces se trata. Esa forma de mostrarnos una relación amorosa un tanto peculiar al de la mayoría es lo que captó mi atención desde el principio.
La historia de Masamune y su revancha/venganza contra Adagaki Aki continúa mientras se enfrenta a un contrincante desconocido que busca sustituirlo y robarle el corazón a su amada. Secretos que están por ser revelados, nuevas experiencias únicas en una pareja que demuestran estar enamorados pero que en realidad es más complicado y un enfrentamiento que tendrá un final un tanto agridulce. Todo esto y más es lo que encontraremos en esta segunda temporada.
Si bien la trama principal me atrapó de una, lo que más me encanta de este anime es que no me terminó de decepcionar luego de la primera temporada. Con un final tan imprevisto, esta empieza con un ambiente un tanto fuerte, pero luego va evolucionando, a la vez que los personajes terminan demostrando ser lo que son en realidad y el amor nace y crece en un lugar donde solo había odio y venganza. Una historia que nos inspira mucho y una animación que no deja indiferente a nadie.
Personalmente, le doy una calificación de 9/10 en lo que respecta al género del romance y la comedia.

Let's continue with more love stories, but this time we will talk about one of the best gems of the romance genre that aired last 2023. An anime that surpasses itself in animation, story, characters and even the soundtrack, Opening and Ending. But, out of all this and without the need of any "Fanservice" it managed to be one of the most popular and best acclaimed of all. I recommend this love story to anyone.
The story starts with everything: a breakup. Akane breaks up with her partner after learning that he was unfaithful with a video game partner. She, after changing her look and falling into depression, decides to play a role-playing game and join a virtual guild of adventurers. Suddenly, her life starts to revolve around the video game, until one day they decide to have a meeting of all the members of the guild in real life. That's where she meets Yamada, a professional gamer and high school student.
If the main plot doesn't completely grab you, the first episode will, as it did for me. A love story somewhat more brought to today's real, with breakups, cheating, love and awkward moments. A somewhat dysfunctional relationship that ends up evolving into something more. And, to top it all off, a protagonist and characters you're sure to love, with animation that fascinates and can be quite enjoyable. Romance, comedy, drama and video games; a unique combination that makes this a complete anime.
Personally, I give it a 9.5/10 rating for the romance and comedy genre.

Pero, fuera de todo esto y sin necesidad de nada de “Fanservice” logró ser uno de los más populares y mejor aclamados de todos. Esta historia de amor se la recomiendo a cualquiera.
La historia empieza con todo: un rompimiento. Akane rompe con su pareja luego de saber que este le fue infiel con una compañera de videojuegos. Ella, luego de cambiar de look y caer en depresión, decide jugar un juego de roll y unirse a un gremio virtual de aventureros. De repente, su vida empieza a girar en torno a dicho videojuego, hasta que un día deciden hacer un encuentro de todos los miembros del gremio en la vida real. Es ahí donde ella conoce a Yamada, un jugador profesional y estudiante de preparatoria.
Si la trama principal no te atrapa por completo, el primer episodio sí lo hará, como lo hizo conmigo. Una historia de amor un tanto más llevada a lo real de hoy en día, con rompimientos, engaños, amores y momentos incómodos. Una relación un tanto disfuncional que termina evolucionando a algo más. Y, por si fuera poco, una protagonista y unos personajes que seguramente amarás, con una animación que fascina y se puede disfrutar bastante. Romance, comedia, drama y videojuegos; una combinación única que hacen de este un anime completo.
Personalmente, le doy una calificación de 9.5/10 en lo que respecta al género del romance y la comedia.

The animation and soundtrack, on the other hand, take much of the credit for being excellently done.
Ichikawa is a lonely boy who lives fantasizing about taking violent revenge on his popular classmates, among whom is Anna Yamada, a teenage Idol who is the most popular and the tallest and best developed in the school. However, one day in the library, our protagonist meets Anna and becomes aware of certain habits and attitudes that she hides from people, but with him she lets herself go and thus develops a trust and a somewhat peculiar friendship.
From the beginning we notice that, although it has a resemblance to the vast majority of student RomCom anime, this one has a somewhat different plot that can attract a lot of attention. A lonely, negative and withdrawn protagonist gets involved with the most popular girl in school. While this sounds very familiar, the development of the relationship, the attitudes of both, the situations and moments that arise, as well as the way in which the relationship evolves make this anime a unique story in its style. Among the many things that can be said about this anime, there is the way in which they deal with themes such as friendship, hate, love, envy and sincerity. All this makes it a work worth enjoying.
Personally, I give it a well-deserved rating of 10/10 as far as the romance and comedy genre is concerned.

Finalicemos el top con el mejor anime de romance que he visto el año pasado, y si, es un “RomCom” muy parecido a cualquier anime de romance escolar. Sin embargo, el increíble éxito y popularidad que ha obtenido esta obra es digna de ella por ser una historia muy bien contada, con un punto de vista un tanto más realista de lo que se trata tener una relación, ya sea amorosa o amistosa. La animación y banda sonora, por otro lado, se llevan gran parte del mérito que tiene al estar excelentemente hecho.
Ichikawa es un chico solitario que vive fantaseando en vengarse de forma violenta con sus compañeros de clase populares, entre los cuales está Anna Yamada, una Idol adolescente que es la más popular y la más alta y mejor desarrollada de la escuela. Sin embargo, un día en la biblioteca, nuestro protagonista se encuentra con Anna y se da cuenta de ciertos hábitos y actitudes que ella oculta de la gente, pero que con él se deja llevar y desarrolla así una confianza y una amistad un tanto peculiar.
Desde el vamos ya notamos que, si bien tiene un parecido a la gran mayoría de los animes RomCom estudiantiles, este posee una trama un tanto diferente que puede llamar mucho la atención. Un protagonista solitario, negativo y retraído se relaciona con la chica más popular de la escuela. Si bien esto nos suena muy familiar, el desarrollo de dicha relación, las actitudes de ambos, las situaciones y momentos que se presentan, además de la forma en la que dicha relación va evolucionando hacen de este anime una historia única en su estilo. De entre tantas cosas que se pueden hablar de este anime, está la manera en la que tratan temas como la amistad, el odio, el amor, la envidia y la sinceridad. Todo esto la hace una obra digna de disfrutar.
Personalmente, le doy una muy merecida calificación de 10/10 en lo que respecta al género del romance y la comedia.
